We recently spent a week in Paris where we stayed ...

We recently spent a week in Paris where we stayed in this apartment. It is well located to several of the Metro lines, and in the very quaint and old section of Paris called Marise. Our host met us the day we arrived even though we were several hours late due to delays at the airport. He even had prepared some delicious pastries for us. He spent ample time explaining the area and provided a wide range of maps, including the public transportation system, which is in our mind, the only way to get around Paris. The apartment will accommodate two people nicely. It was a wonderful place to come back to after a long day of exploring Paris. When in Paris you must go to Versailles to see the palace. Our host is a school teacher and new all about the area and provided us details on how to be safe and to how to avoid unsavory run ins with pick pockets. I especially liked the fact that the view from our windows each morning, that provided a snapshot of what to expect in the way of weather as we would head out on our journeys. If you are going to Paris, so consider this exchange.
