Hello fellow exchangers!
Here is a picture of us on the set of Home & Family with Ed Kushin the founder of home exchange. One of the crazy adventures we had home exchanging. This year we are hoping to go New York. We're a family of three and love architecture, photography and travelling. Especially to cities with a beach.
Our son Niels (2004) is well behaved and careful with your belongings. We like to take care of your house as we would ours and keep it nice and tidy.
And we love home exchanging and the feeling of living like a local.
And we have a sweet cat named Scully. We hope you will take care of her and we certainly would love taking care of your cats.

Wether it's summer or winter; we always love the exciting buzz of a city. We love observing people, taste their best food, enjoy interior design, architecture, street art, markets, shops, museums, skate parks etc.
We were very lucky to have found Priscilla, Onno and their son Neils. They have a very new, 3 story contemporary town home on the outskirts of Amsterdam on the newly created island of IJburg. Quiet but still so close to the city via bike or tram. We exchanged cars also, but in 4 weeks we only needed to use their car twice. The tram stop is only a large city block away and the fast clean tram runs 8 times each hour into downtown - to the Central Train Station. The ride takes about 15 minutes. Their home is in a safe neighborhood with several great restaurants within walking distance. There are also large and small markets for food shopping and other necessities close by. The home has an open floor plan on the first floor and is bright and airy with high ceilings. As you would expect it has a modern fully equipped kitchen and upstairs there is nice front loading laundry equipment. The master bath has a big tub plus a separate shower. From Amsterdam it is easy to take side trips to many areas that are very close by train including Brussels, Antwerp, Brugges, The Hague, Delft, Haarlem, & Utrecht. We hit them ALL plus Berlin - which was 6 hours by train - - but well worth the trip! Priscilla and Onno set us up with their neighbors to greet us with the key. All the neighbors were super friendly and very helpful. Priscilla and Onno were also instantly available before and during our trip via email or SKYPE to answer all of our questions. We also had the use of two perfect bicycles and we used them regularly to go to downtown Amsterdam, to the market, to restaurants, and to explore the town of Muiden close by- plus to go to the beach at the end of their island - only about a 10 minute bike ride away. Fun bars and restaurants at the beach on the many nice days we had. You will not go wrong to exchange with Priscilla & Onno - - Our experience was two steps above PERFECT ! Ken & Susan Flagler Beach, FL
We had the great opportunity to exchange with Ken and Susan in the summer of 2011 and we all agree that it was our best holiday ever. They house is beautiful, clean, practical spacious and so comfortable. But equally we enjoyed the view, the garden and the dock on the intracoastal waterway. We called it seaworld in front of your house with all the exciting wildlife like dolphins, manatee's and turtles. Ken and susan are so hospitable, we felt very at home and welcome. Falgler is a cute city and the beach is great because it's not crowded at all. We loved going to all the cities around it like Daytona Beach, Jacksonville and Orlando. So many things to see and do. We had such a special time in Flagler, we will be back for sure! Priscilla and Onno
We had the most amazing time at the Korver's canal house in Ijburg, Amsterdam. The house is comfortable and impeccably kept. We rode bikes daily to many of the fascinating sites near their home. The train was conveniently located two blocks away and there were many markets within walking distance. Our children are dying to return to see Skully, the cat and swim in the canal. It's a vacation we will fondly remember for the rest of our lives. Best Wishes Mark and Carolina
We had the best time in Rossmoor. It's a really tranquil and beautiful neighborhood, with good shops nearby. You drive to Seal Beach in no time, which has a cute historic main street and nice pier. From Rossmoor you also have easy acces to all great highways. We went to Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, Santa Monica, Malibu for beach fun. And for kids LA, Legoland, San diego zoo, Universal Studios are really nice visits. The house is very beautiful, very nicely decorated and has lots of space. The browning family were very hospitable and helped us with everything. We hope to see them again one day and wish them good luck on all their future home exchanges! Thanks guys!
