Greetings, Home Exchange Friends!
We are Strider and Daniela, two successful professionals with two well-behaved children who are ten and thirteen and may or may not be traveling with us. We love the great outdoors and seeing new places. My husband is a dentist, and I run his office. We are able to take off at a moment's notice for short trips, and greatly enjoy life and all the adventures it has to offer. We are both very neat, and believe in leaving a place the way we found it. We even have a habit of cleaning up hotel rooms before we leave them. :)
We exchange our home with Daniela and Strider and it was a great success! We loved staying in their beautiful home and enjoyed exploring this very nice and scenic part of New Mexico. Angel Fire is a nice town with many outdoor posibilities (hiking, mountain biking, trail running, paddle boating, skiing among others). Also visited Taos and Ojo Caliente Hot Springs, both worthwhile excursions. Thank you!!!
We visited Boulder in the summer, and Huybert's garden was in full bloom. The house and yard were gorgeous, and the chickens were an extra treat. Everything was neat and tidy, and specific instructions were left for everything. The house is located right downtown. We walked everywhere, got lots of exercise, and ate as much as possible at the delicious restaurants on Pearl Street! It was our anniversary and the 4th of July, and we were able to watch the fireworks from the third-floor balcony on the roof of Huybert's house. It was romance at it's best. :) If you are looking for a quaint, cute house central to Pearl Street and the downtown area, look no farther. This lovely home will suit all your needs! Had a wonderful time in Angel Fire! Home is large, roomy and with the home theater makes for a great vacation get-away. Lot's of fun things to do locally including hiking, skiing and more. Highly recommend exchange and the owners are lovely people. Guajardo Family
We had an excellent exchange with these nice people. Lots of communication before the exchange, so everybody was prepared for the trip. This was a simultaneous exchange and we actually exchanged vehicles by leaving them at the airport parking lots for each other. Everything worked out great! We were able to use some of their ski equipment, while they were able to make use of our kayaks and bicycles. Everything was nicely cared for. We loved the house. It was peaceful with beautiful views and great kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and movie theater. I definitely recommend this place!
we very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The home was beautiful as well as functional. It was clean when we arrived and the owners provided helpful instructions about the home as well as information about the area. the view of the local Ski Resort across the valley were gorgeous.if going in the winter we would advise a 4 wheel drive vehicle.we would definitely stay in this house again.
Wonderfully friendly folks to deal with and a gorgeous and relaxing home in nature! When we got home, we couldn't find a single trace of them having been in our home. A true pleasure to deal with!
We had a great time in Angel Fire. Daniela was very communicative and helpful. Their home is very spacious and had plenty for us to do while hanging around. A large snow came the day we drove there, and their friend plowed before we arrived. We didn't have any trouble on the driveway with our AWD minivan. Overall we had a lovely time!
Lauren and Joel were great exchangers! They drove six hours in a snowstorm to get to our house. Our house was neat as a pin when they left. Their home in Denver was pretty, tidy, and the perfect size for the six of us. We had a dental convention, and found it easy to walk the few blocks to the light rail and got to the convention center in twelve minutes. Very convenient, and so nice to stay in a home instead of a cold hotel when traveling! Lauren also made some great recommendations for dinner and shopping. Definitely a great experience!
My husband and I went to Keystone for a mountain bike clinic and stayed at Bret and Dian's lovely condo. It was beautifully decorated and within walking distance to the ski slopes, shopping, and restaurants. I was soooo tired after a full day of biking and it was lovely to just walk five minutes back to the cozy condo and collapse into a beer. :) Also, there was a bacon festival in town that weekend, and we only had to walk three minutes to the center of town to catch all the crazy events. Dian was the perfect hostess and kept in touch through the months between our exchanges to remind me of our dates. She even left us a gorgeous gift basket, filled with everything we could have asked for on our trip! I would absolutely recommend these exchangers. They left our house cleaner than our housekeeper ever has. There was no trace that they'd ever been there. Now that is something to come home to!
