This exchange exceeded our expectations. We stayed a few days in Berlin and a few at the farm house. We chose the farm house so we could relax a little bit during our 70 day European tour. Instead, we had a great, intense, cultural experience. We visited several cities in one day and delighted in the architecture, landscape and charm of the region of Upper Lusatia, part of which used to belong to Bohemia. Our hosts were just incredibly hospitable, nice, friendly and accommodating. They helped us discover the region and suggested places to visit off the beaten path for the regular tourist. We visited 12 countries and 35 cities on this trip, but this is the most unique, delightfully unexpected experience we had during these 70 days in Europe. The apartment in Berlin was great as well, in a very convenient part of town with restaurants and transportation close by. We found Berlin to be a must for any European trip, due to its importance in the history and emotional impact on the visitors. Do take a walking, guided tour if you want to really discover and understand this city.

May I first of all recommend this place and the people! I had an excellent stay in Berlin-Neukölln and was even lucky to have an exclusive guide in Noema to be shown around exciting spots in Berlin and as well as meeting her friends. Guide books, city magazines and personalized maps were all there for me. I could not have wished for more, I enjoyed my stay immensely and felt inspired when I came back home. The flat was both convenient and very welcoming and I hope to go back to Berlin and meet my new friends once again. They took very good care of my home in

What we said about Henriette's house:

This was a really great exchange. It was a "half" non-simultaneous one, where I had the opportunity to meet our exchange partner, Henriette. I enjoyed very much the nice conversations and the time we spent together in Berlin! The communication previous to the exchange was smooth and Henriette supplied us with a lot of information about the area. Aarhus is a very nice town, the apartment was very nice and comfortable and the neighbors friendly, we enjoyed the stay very much. Another positive point: Rosina and Sveske, the cats, who were very friendly and welcoming with the guests ;-) We strongly recommend this exchange partner.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this residents in Berlin! Berlin is a wonderful city and should not be missed. The neighborhood had offered a variety of good places to eat and everything we needed groceries, pharmaceutical and public transportation were within walking distance. Additionally, Noema puts great effort into accommodating her guests. She provides travel brochures, suggested places to dine, specifics on public transportation and a welcoming atmosphere. Our train had been delayed several hours passed the designated rendezvous time and her understanding greatly helped how overwhelmed we were by the experience. A great person to exchange with and a terrific location.
