- Amy Hospice RN (40)
- Matt Farmer (48)
Happy in Humboldt, California
I (Amy) am a Hospice RN and my husband Matt is a farmer, we've been married 10 years- we discovered Shelter Cove and bought this home together on our honeymoon. We live and work in a farming community, 4.5 hours away from our Coastal retreat. We have 3 children, all well traveled & mature (16, 20, 21 years) but they rarely travel with us anymore...once in a while we bring our elderly parents on vacation though.
We travel to at least one Hawaiian island each year, so would welcome any Hawaiian exchangers. We also love to ski in Tahoe for at least one week per year, but snow was scarce last year and we didn't go. Otherwise we have not been able to travel much the last 2 years (while I am getting my Master's as a Nurse Practitioner) so we have "Paid it forward" on at least 5 exchanges...exchange partners stayed at our house, but we have been unable to travel to their's yet. We anticipate trying to make those vacations priority over 2014-2016. We can be tempted by exciting adventures (especially if world class fishing is nearby) but no simultaneous primary home exchanges will be considered.
We love everything ocean related, especially fishing, abalone diving, kayaking, water sports & fun. We love our coast and our little town, but also love exploration and adventure in new places. Tempt us with your piece of paradise.
