Had a great time on North Captiva. The island has a Caribbean feel and is a fantastic getaway. The house has a beautiful private backyard with hot tub, and is a short walk to the beach and a really short walk to the Island Club, which has a great pool and a very friendly pool bar. No cars on the island, made it truly peaceful. The island is very limited in terms of Stores, so you need to provision on Pine Island, which has full grocery stores. The resort does do a daily run to Pine Island and will bring you back fish. We had a fantastic meal of grouper and clams. The house was very comfortable, and had everything we needed for the week. The caretakers met us at the dock and helped with luggage and getting us acquainted with the house and island. Hope to do exchanges with Peter in the future.
