What a spacious luxury dream flat! It’s superbly located, staying in the city centre was very convenient, you can easily get everywhere in no-time. Katarina, Erik and their sons are great, they took their time to organize everything perfectly in order to welcoming us, so we felt ourselves at home at once. Our charming new friends also provide us good advice on the best places in the city. Summer in Stockholm caused great surprise in us. We had a very great time enjoying the city, the lake, the weather, the light and getting to know Swedish life. I strongly recommend you this exchange we will remember as a wonderful experience.

What we said about Lourdes's house:

Francisco and Lourdes apartment in Rincon de la Victoria is great. It is not spacious, but well planned and tastefully furnished with two really nice terraces. One is located on the top floor with "the sky as roof". We really enjoyed the evenings on the terraces. The pool was nice for windy days and to take a swim in after a day on the beach. Some of the surrounding apartments were vacant, a reminder of the financial crisis in Spain and in the rest of the world, but once we got used to that it gave us more privacy and more space in the pool: ) The location of Rincon de la Victoria is very good, close to many other nice places to visit like Alhambra, Nerja, Sierra Nevada, Marbella, Gibraltar, etc. It´s a very quiet area. When we were there in June/July there were not many tourists, apart from Spanish people, which made it “non-touristic” and a very good opportunity to practice the Spanish language: ) We preferred beaches in Rincon de la Victoria where we went by car. Last but not least, Francisco and Lourdes and their two children were lovely people. A lovely family! They even invited us for lunch (Paella of course!) in our own home when we met in Stockholm briefly. J We can highly recommend an exchange.
