Bronwyn's house on Malvern was ideal for our 3 week visit to Toronto - our teenage daughter blew through with her friend in between summer camps and my sister from BC was able to arrange a visit with us for a few nights. We were in town over the Beaches Jazz Festival and so we had many walks down to Queen Street and the Woodbine park where the live musicians were performing. We are also able to visit other friends and entertain them on the back patio. Marlie the cat patiently looked on - he's perhaps the most "chill" cat I've ever met and was very easy to take care of! All in all, Bronwyn's gracious hospitality and generous offer of the use of her car were most appreciated - a great person to exchange with, should you want to explore Toronto's Beach community.

What we said about Vicky's house:

We did a home exchange with Vicky and her family in July 2013, and had a wonderful time. Vicky's home is beautiful and spacious, with island breezes blowing through the open concept rooms. We really enjoyed the backyard pool and outdoor living and dining spaces, as well as the lovely grounds. My children had a great time spotting monkeys in the trees on the edge of the property, and playing with their 2 dogs and cat, which are very well behaved and friendly. We so appreciated the help of their housekeeper, Marlene, who not only helped us with the house, but also gave us many tips about the island. Vicky and her family took great care of my home while I was in hers. Barbados itself is beautiful! We loved exploring the different beaches, which are completely different on each area of the island. The people were friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. I would highly recommend exchanging homes with Vicky and her family!

We did a wonderfull exchange with Bronwyn in august 2012. Her house is perfect for a family. What we enjoy most: 1) Have a diner with the nextdoor, 2) The porch where we had many glass of wine, 3) The playground just in front of your house, 4) her juicemaker, 5) The Glen Manor road (where we went for many walks) and the best position in Town! Its a easy drive to town (15 minutes) and the house is located in front of a elementary school with a outdoor playground. We went there few time after diner. They came to our house with an other family and let us many suggestions of activities to do around their area. Their neigbor is friendly and our daugthers played a bite with his son. We had great time and fell in love with Toronto. Thanks a lot and hope to swap with her again in the futur!

What we said about Mélanie & Michael's house:

We did a great exchange with Melanie and her lovely family in August 2012. Melanie's house is perfect for a family or anyone looking to explore the Quebec City area. We stayed there with another family and there was still lots of room because their house is so spacious. My children really enjoyed the swimming pool, trampoline, big back yard, many toys, and used them daily, and we enjoyed being able to relax on the back deck with a glass of wine and some local cheese while they played. The house is set in the country, with woods behind, and is very beautiful and peaceful, but it's also a quick and convenient drive to Quebec City. It's also close to the beautiful Charlevoix area and many ski hills, including Stoneham, which is just up the road. Melanie's neighbours are wonderful, and even came over for a fire and entertained us with his guitar and singing. Melanie and her family took great care of my house while I stayed in their house and would highly recommend them as a super family to exchange homes with. If you haven't seen the Quebec City area, it's a stunning part of Canada (my favourite, in fact) that is not to be missed. I look forward to exchanging homes with Melanie and her family again in the future.
