You will enjoy visiting coastal North Carolina!
Being "young at heart" active retirees we are open to exchanges both in the USA and in Europe. We have traveled with another adult couple or adult children at times. We are conscientious and take care of what we have and will do so in your home as well. We have had six enjoyable exchanges with wonderful people. We love it!
If there were a rating system for excahges, I would rate this one an A We had a wonderful exchange. Meg and Jerry were well organized, thorough in their exchange preparation, and were a pleasure to work with throughout the process. The home is absolutely beautiful, yet comfortable and welcoming, and the location was ideal for our vacation. The beach house, the Winding River amenities, and location for day trips in the area were great. Our short stay in Charleston and Savannah made the trip fantastic. I would do an exchange here again in a heartbeat! Thank you Meg and Jerry.
Seattle is a wonderful city to visit. Very colorful, lots of historical firsts, wonderful food, and Mt. St. Helen's always in the vista. We took a 3 day trip over to Victoria, BC via a ferry ride through the San Juan Islands and a 3 day car trip touring the Olympic Peninsula. We so enjoyed the Gruenewald's home, as well, with all its interesting artifacts and collections from their various travels. The home is wonderfully located within a short commute to Seattle City Center. It has large living areas and a bonus, a home theatre. The family is well traveled and made it easy for us to work through exchange details. They stayed a couple extra days at our home after we returned and this made the exchange all the more interesting for us. We enjoyed this fine family and do hope to see them again.
