We home exchange for the experience of getting close to another culture and understanding how people live in other places.
If you are interested in giving having a cultural experience and want to put effort into the exchange then please contact us.

In the summer we love being by the sea
In the winter we'd like to ski at a place with good cross country tracks and a good school for children
We like places where there is a good variety of things to do and see
We don't like being car dependent and like to be able to walk places
Amazing location for visiting London, just behind the famous Harley St. You are minutes from Regents Park, the zoo, Madame Tussaud's etc and have a choice of tube stations on your doorstep to go further afield. Nice, clean flat on third floor with lift. Some lovely restaurants and shops also on your doorstep.
Nice house in a quiet location close next to some allotments, close to a lively area on the outskirts of Manchester convenient for shops and restaurants. Helpful information provided by home owner. We exchanged non simultaneously for a weekend as we were visiting family. We wanted a specific area. We had a car and did not test out the pubic transport but it was easy to park around the house and there was good access to the motorway and road into the centre of Manchester. Plenty of local restaurants were within a very easy walking distance.
The exchange could not have turned out any more perfect than this one. The rare opportunity to exchange our one house for two houses in two completely different locations made our vacation that much better. The communication leading up to and during the exchange was flawless. The family presented us with great ideas of places to visit of which there are numerous. Both of their homes are very nice, well equipped, and extremely well situated. The Oxfordshire house is in a very quaint little village with some of the most varied and beautiful hiking trails we have ever seen. This house is a great starting off point for visiting such places as Oxford, the many Cotswold Villages, Stratford-Upon-Avon and Bath. The London house, off of the Marlyebone High Street, is in a fantastic location for visiting London. Very close to Regents Park and two tubes stations which make it very easy to get anywhere in the city. The train station is close by if you want to take a side trip to Brighton, Cambridge, York or anywhere else in England. The street where the flat sits is very quiet, but all around it is filled with bustling activity. Lots of restaurants and shops close by. Easy to walk to all of the main sites in London from their flat. When we returned home, we found that the family left our house in impeccable shape and took terrific care of our car. If you're looking to do an exchange in England, look no further than this one.
Lovely spacious house in a great location. Well cared for clean house that is really well equipped from surf boards and bikes to a games room. Walking distance to beach and restaurants and shopping area as well as weekly farmers market. Very well situated for visiting many places along the coast and easy access to the Freeway system. We initially had doubts about a vacation in LA but found that there was a huge variety of things to do and see. The location on the canals is pretty special. We travelled with our 5 year old and we found that there were great activities for children in the museums and galleries as well as open air concerts and events.Disneyland is about 45 minutes away, Universal studios closer. We really enjoyed this exchange and highly recommend an exchange. The family took excellent care of our house and car and we were very happy. The family are great, lots of helpful information and assistance to make a great holiday. Exchanges don't get much better than this! Recommended for people who are looking for a vacation that has lots of variety.
I have just stayed at Helen and Chris's lovely flat for a second time. It's starting to feel like my London pad! You couldn't hope for a better location. It's walking distance or a short hop on the tube to all the attractions and the local neighbourhood has interesting individual shops, bars, restaurants and typical London pubs. The flat itself is beautifully appointed, stylish and comfortable. You couldn't want for more. Highly recommended!
We enjoyed our exchange with Beth so much that we have exchanged twice with her and are hoping for a third! The house is in a fabulous condition with Beth having had so much work done to it. It makes a really comfortable base for exploring Bath. The house is well located within easy walking reach of the centre and close to the canal. Beth provided help, leaflets and maps on the Bath area and left our place in a perfect condition. We can highly recommend an exchange with Beth
We had a fabulous vacation in England last summer and feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to stay in Helen and Chris' wonderful homes. The flat and country home are both in desirable locations with top notch amenities. Helen and Chris provided us with loads of helpful information to enhance our experience. They took great care of our home and would definitely recommend them as exchangers.
We really enjoyed our stay in Longforgan at Connie's house. The house is lovely. Very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Connie made us feel very welcome and left a well organised file of instructions for the house as well as a vast array of information on the local area. The views over the river are very beautiful and we were left feeling that a weekend was far too short a time to enjoy this exchange. Connie left our flat in a perfect condition - so much so that you could hardly tell that anyone had been staying. We can highly recommend an exchange with Connie.
We spent a week in this home in April 2015 and loved it. The house itself was charming. It is really a small estate in a quiet setting with nice views and horses grazing in the fields. Helen is a good communicator, easy to deal with, and super-organized; and the home was fully equipped. The location is very central for visiting SW England. While Bath is only 10 minutes by car we found the bus so convenient (very close by and frequent enough) that we choose it to avoid thinking about parking in the city. We visited Bath several times, took hikes around the lovely countryside right from the house, and day-trips by car to Oxford, Stonehenge, and the Cotswolds ... an enjoyable exchange overall. We recommend it. Dan & Maureen San Francisco, CA
We had a very successful exchange, the communications were easy and arrangements seamless. The house was great for us, well placed in a safe residential neighbourhood with easy access to the main sights. It is really comfortable with everything that we needed. The food store is a minutes walk so very convenient. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet but feel that we got to know each other. We really appreciated the maps and leaflets and recommendations on what to. We can highly recommend an exchange with Dan & Maureen.
