What we said about Martin's house:

We are happy that Martin enjoyed his stay in our house. It was a non-simultanious exchange so we will visit his place Spain in the future. As Martin's comments are in Spanish only we translated them to English below. We enjoyed our stay in this lovely and beautiful house. It has magnificent facilities (swimming pool, sauna, whirlpool). Our family enjoyed some wonderful and relaxing days. Its location is great for visiting Prague and all the beautiful towns around. We were well received by David. We had everything at our disposal in the house that is fashionable and comfortable. Perfect for a family with children, as they have children too. They have a beautiful garden. Their neighbors met were very friendly and willing to help in what ever was necessary. We spent an unforgettable day in the great house and the beauty of Prague.

We stayed at Martina and David's house during the Summer of 2015. Everything was as it was described in their listing. We were a party of 6 and there was plenty of room for everyone. The pool in the basement was an added bonus. They have a sauna there too, but since it was so warm this past summer we never used it. Their house is very centrally located to many major cities. Of course Prague was only 1/2 hour away by car, but we also visited Cesky Krumlov (an old medieval city in the Czech Republic) as well as Salzburg, Austria, Vienna and Berlin. For US-exchangers the dollar was VERY strong this past summer. I don't recall a meal for 6 ever costing more than $80 USD (and that includes the wonderful Czech beers). All in all, I would recommend Martina's house for an exchange in the Czech Republic.

What we said about Doug's house:

We enjoyed very much our four weeks long stay in Stow in the summer 2015. The house is spacious and it has an amazing porch and a huge backyard. The Recko family is very friendly and helpful in all ways. The exchange was perfectly organised. We certainly recommend this place.

Staying at David and Martina's beautiful house this summer (2015) was a true pleasure! In 13 exchanges I have never seen such a well-prepared information binder or house! Everything was explained from how to work the washer and dryer to directions pre-programmed into their GPS for just about anywhere you would want to go! Their proximity to Prague is perfect - close enough to be in the city in 25 minutes but in a beautiful village on the other side of a small forest. It really is ideal! We loved Jilove - it's quaint, like something out of a picture book, but it also has everything you need. We loved eating at Cafe Florian right on the main square and listening to a concert we happened to come across at the small, local museum in town. There is even a little free book library on the square - must be a worldwide trend! David and Martina's home is everything you want and more! Pretty views over the village, generously sized rooms, modern kitchen and bathrooms, indoor lap pool, sauna, BIG TV, and a great patio on which to have dinner on warm summer nights. We regularly visited the cherry tree in the small field across from the house. The small development they live in is secluded and quiet - we slept great! From their home it is very easy to get to so many things to see in the area - other beautiful villages, castles, rolling wheat fields for miles, and fantastic restaurants. We loved the Czech Republic and plan to return in a few years to see more of the country. You won't be disappointed if you exchange homes with David and Martina - everything about the exchange was a real treat!
