Cycling is a good way to travel anywhere. You are independent and mobile, and yet travel at people speed--fast enough to travel on to another town in the cooler morning hours, but slow enough to meet people: the old farmer at the roadside who raises his hand and says, 'You are welcome,' the tireless women who offer a smile to a passing cyclist, the children whose laughter transcends the humblest home. - Neal Peart

Nice house in a quiet village about 30 minutes from Gatineau. Everything was as expected. They left lots of useful information. House is close to ski hill in the winter and the same place is a water park in summer, there is also a golf course less than 5 k from the house. We very much enjoyed this exchnage

What we said about David's house:

All our family enjoyed this fantastic villa by the sea. Thanks to David and Karen, we also discovered real Balinese hidden treasures from the north of the island. Our host were very helpful before and during our stay to organize everything. We had a wonderful family time and we hope more people will get to discover this amazing place. David and Mélanie v

Dave and Mel's home was lovely, clean and tidy and had everything we needed. We appreciated the car exchange as this allowed us to explore into Ontario, Quebec and the nearby national parks and lakes. We did not get to meet in person before the exchange but we really hope to catch up with the family on their way home. The deer family that pass through the garden each day was a highlight for us. Thanks again for this exchange.
