Our house is a stunningly converted warehouse apartment located in the historic and artistic centre of Athens. This fourth floor conversion has just been completed in 2015. The building's lower three floors are still used for their original purpose of storing shoes. It is an apartment of 220 sqm with a further 100 sqm of terraces. It has wrap around large windows with expansive views of the Acropolis and the Parthenon. It is surrounded by many art galleries, cafes and traditional tavernas and it is only four minutes walk to Monastiraki Metro Station. It has an open plan marble and iron kitchen, fully equipped with a small electric oven that has three hot plates. A huge living room of 120 sqm has got windows overlooking the terrace to the Acropolis, a sofa seating for 12 and a full size table tennis table. A 4 metre long custom built Iron and timber dining table with seats for 14 is between the kitchen and the living area. There are two full bathrooms, one very large with twin showers and separate toilet and one smaller with shower and toilet. The house has two large bedrooms. In one there is a king size bed that can be set up as two singles, and in the other there is a dedicated king size bed that cannot be separated. Two more people can sleep in the huge living area (100 sq. metres) either in oversized sofas that can be made up into two single beds or in a bamboo bed. (1.20 metres wide). Our beds are amazingly comfortable with 100% cotton linen sheets and high quality pillows. We have a classic record player with a huge records collection and free WiFi access. The house is provided with a very large heating/cooling system in the living room. Ceiling and floor fans as well as natural breezes cool down the bedrooms. There are small localised heaters for separate areas. There is wheelchair access.

The apartment is in the heart of the traditional area for tavernas and music cafes. It is surrounded by many art galleries and It is close to local attractions such as Acropolis, Plaka, Flea Market, and Museums. It is at four minutes walk to the largest outdoor meat, poultry, fish, vegetable and fruit market in Europe and to Monastiraki Metro Station. A great location and a stunning house to live and enjoy Athens and the lovely Greek people at their best!
