Mon loft est très lumineux, des fenêtres sur deux côtés. On peut facilement marcher à Gastown et le reste du centre ville. Il y beaucoup de bons restons et bars autour. Les meubles sont modernes, en cuir. En été les plantes auront besoin d'être arrosées chaque jour.

Mon quartier est au centre ville, près du port. Il y a le quartier Gastown, comme jvai mentionné en haut et à quelques rues il y a le Downtown East Side (beaucoup de problèmes sociaux). On peut l éviter complètement, mais je préfère être honnête. Ça fait des années que j'habite ici (femme seule) et je n'ai pas eu de problème.

Industrial style eighth floor (top building level) loft, with extensive views South and West through double height windows of Vancouver and the harbour. Air conditioned and fully equipped with high quality furnishings and a full kitchen. It is a 15 minute (1.2 km) walk to Waterfront Station, connecting to the airport by metro (25 minutes) and North Vancouver by seabus, 1.3 km to the helijet terminal, 1.4 km to the cruise ship terminal and 2 km to the float plane terminal for Victoria (35 minutes) and other island destinations. For those wishing to take trips to visit the US (Washington, Oregon,. etc) the VIA Rail train station is about a 15 minute walk or a very short cab or UBER ride. There are two folding city bikes available to ride around Vancouver. One can leave here, ride around Stanley Park (on the water), go along English Bay beaches, put the bikes on a very short, scenic passenger ferry to cross the inlet over to Granville Island Market (eat, shop for groceries,. etc ), then ride back around the south side of False Creek. This bike route follows Vancouver's shoreline. The bike path is flat - you do not have to be a seasoned cyclist. Most importantly, there are many places to stop, relax, eat, have a coffee (or a glass of wine), and enjoy the views en route.

This neighbourhood has two aspects. One, Gastown, which is trendy and very lively. The other, several blocks away, is the Downtown East Side (DTES), which has many social problems. (It can easily be avoided, but I think it is important to be honest.) There are many notable restaurants in this Railtown area. For example, Ask Luigi, St. Lawrence, Kisso Tanto. The Alibi room (40 different beers) is 90m away. A fabulous dîner across the street. Not to mention many places in Gastown, Coal Harbour and Yaletown. Chinatown is right next door. I will leave a list with various suggestions. This area can sometimes be noisy during the night (work at the port) especially if you open the windows. However, the AC works extremely well - and it is quiet - so you don't have to open them. Again, just want to be clear that this is in the heart of the city, so not always tranquille. But if you want to be in the heart of Vancouver in a beautiful loft with access to Gastown, downtown Vancouver, English Bay, Stanley Park, etc. Its a great spot. Excellent building with really good people.

There is a full bathroom (bath, shower). Lots of room to put your things out. Just hard to get photos of it.
