Was Sie an dieser Unterkunft lieben werden

Conveniently located in Cowichan Valley wine country in Mill Bay on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, 35 minutes north of Victoria or one hour south of Nanaimo. Our non-smoking pet free private entrance 1 bedroom suite is located in the bottom of our home which is on a .5 acre lot with a treed creek. You will have an ocean view off the outdoor grape arbor deck. We are a 5 minute walk from a small mall with a large grocery store or the local marina. There are several golf courses in the valley and many boutique wineries, also lots of walking trails. The town of Duncan is 18k away and has many stores, boutiques and big box, restaurants and tourist attractions.

Spring usually starts with bulbs blooming the end of Feb. Summer is warm and dry as is fall. Our winter starts in Oct./Nov. and is rainy with mod. temps. Snow or freezing temps are few and far between. The neighbourhood is semi-rural and quiet with friendly neighbours. We are five min. from shopping and the ocean, close to golfing, great dining, parks and recreation. Taxi and bus service nearby. - Outdoor adventures include hiking, mountain biking and fresh or salt-water fishing. The unique Kinsol rail trestle is close by. - Visit the internationally acclaimed Butchart Gardens accessible by ferry from Mill Bay to Brentwood Bay - Tour Victoria and stroll around the Inner Harbour, enjoy afternoon tea at the famous Empress Hotel or visit the Royal BC Museum. - Spend some time in the town of Duncan which is known as the City of Totems. Visit the Cultural Native Centre to find out more about the aboriginal people of the region. - Ride the steam train at the BC Forest Discovery Centre near Duncan. - See the famous murals in Chemainus or browse the arts and craft shops. Have dinner and attend live theatre in the evening.
