Our "second" home away from home. This is a great place to withdraw at and come at ease with the busy 7/24 business life.
Located only 15 minutes from Amsterdam en 20 minutes from Utrecht. The lodge is situated at a unique location, namely an island on a lake, only to be reached over the water by boat.
(PLEASE READ THE NOTE BELOW FOR ACCESS BY BOAT TO THE ISLAND) Also make sure to view the quick movie to get a good impression of the cottage. Youtube link at the bottum.
A lake cottage easily sleeps 6 to 8 people, has a terrace on top of the water in front and in the back of the island with a great view over the lake. The cottage is equipped with all the comfort as at home while enjoying the the beauty and tranquility of nature! It has all the necessary amenities such as multiple lounge sets inside and outside, a kitchen inside and cooking island outside, electricity, heater, luxury shower, and even a two-person hammock.
The kitchen is equiped kitchen with a large fridge, freezer and oven. The bathroom has a toilet and shower. Even though the cottage is located on an island there is full electricity as at home. The water for the kitchen, bathroom and shower is from the lake. It is filtered and clean but not drinkable. We provide fresh drinking water in a special container from the port for making coffee, tea and for drinking water. For the colder days and nights in the spring or the fall, the Glamping Lodge is equiped with a wood stove for heating. We always personally welcome our guests in port and guide them to the island to explain all.
There are plenty of opportunities to relax, sail, swim or even go fishing. There are surfboards to paddle on and there is even a large trampoline for children. Even sleeping in a real tree house is a possibility, as this is also built in one of the trees at the back of the island.

THIS LOCATION CAN ONLY BE REACHED OVER THE WATER BY BOAT. A BOAT IS NOT INCLUDED AND CAN BE RENTED AT THE PORT CLOSE BY WHERE YOU CAN ALSO PARK YOUR CAR FOR €3,- PER CAR PER DAY. WE HAVE ARRANGED SPECIAL PRICES FOR THE BOATRENTAL FOR THE COTTAGE. WE CAN MAKE THE RESERVATION FOR THE BOATRENTAL FOR YOU.

The cottage is located only 15 minutes by car from Amsterdam en 20 minutes from Utrecht. At the Vinkeveense Plassen. You can park your car at the marina Oldenburger which is only a 5-minute boat ride away. You can even do your groceries shopping by boat, how romantic?
The Vinkeveense Plassen or the lake is very versatile in terms of recreation and nature. The lakes are characterized by its large number of sand islands. In addition, there are many opportunities for water recreation or sports such as, canooing, sailing and waterboarding and skiing.
