Was Sie an dieser Unterkunft lieben werden

Our home is located on Lake Cowichan in a small cottage community. Due to strata rules governing short-term stays, bookings must be a minimum of one month. We offer a relaxing and very playful 2 bedroom home. Both bedrooms have Queen size beds with luxurious mattresses to ensure a good nights sleep. The backyard is fully fenced for privacy. The 25 ft upper balcony has stunning lake views you can enjoy while BBQing or relaxing watching beautiful sunsets. This balcony also has a 20 ft awning to fully shade the sun or rain. It is a marcesa awning which has a center bar, which provides extra headroom to easily walk under. We planned our home to fit our active lifestyle. We have our own gym in our house. Equipped with treadmill, weight bench, weights, bungee bands, yoga matt. There are two living rooms/TV rooms. Downstairs has an electric fireplace and two - full size arcade games with 24 games. They are a lot of fun and no coins are required! Both TV’s have Netflix, Prime, Disney+, Apple, Crave, & Spotify. The fenced backyard has an oversized Jacuzzi hot tub and a 10 foot barrel sauna. Our sauna is a dry and wet sauna. You pour eucalyptus water on the rocks, and it becomes a eucalyptus steam room. Once out of the sauna, you can cool off in the outdoor shower! There is a summer and winter patio set up with a fire table to relax after a hot tub or sauna. Our couches have many pillows so you can drop & relax! During the cooler months, you can enjoy a fire in our fire pit area and make smores and watch the bounty of stars above you. We have two stand-up paddle boards for your use. The crystal clear lake has many beautiful beaches & secluded areas to explore. We have a community clubhouse, 200 ft private beach, swim dock & boat dock. The Clubhouse has a pool, hot tub, full gym, pool table, and TV room. Fishing rod & lures are available. Lonnie catches a lot of trout off the dock! Our crystal clear lake is fully of several tout. Many areas to hike, bike, or walk right outside your door. Our house is surrounded by mountains, you can hike Bald Mountain out our door. Our house is equipped with a full-size washer & dryer to freshen up and get ready for another fun day!

We live in on beautiful Lake Cowichan, 1 1/2 hours from Victoria, 1 hour Nanaimo, two hours from Mount Washington ski area. Beautiful powder snow all season! Our community has 15 kilometers of walking and hiking trails; including the 3 acre lakefront Stoker Park, 3 acre Southern Playfield Park, 10 acre northern lakefront park and the 874 acre Bald Mountain Park. Cowichan Lake is 30 kilometers of unspoiled, mountain feed, fresh water and is 500 ft deep, great for fishing, paddle boarding, jumping off the swim dock or spend the day relaxing on our beach. Lake Cowichan flows into Cowichan River and becomes a very fun lazy river thru the Town of Lake Cowichan. Tubing down the Cow is a must for summer visitors! The Village of Youbou is located only minutes away and you can see "Bob" the resident elk on your way to Youbou Pub for the best housemade pizza and burgers. Their deck has amazing views of every sunset. Honeymoon Bay Saturday market, 20 min drive has fantastic home-baked pies, bread and assortment of hand-crafted local goods.

The Cowichan Valley Trail, part of the Trans Canada Trail, it meets up with the trail right outside our door. Great for walking or cycling right into Victoria! There are over 2,000 hectares of parks to discover in the Cowichan Valley area. This is a rich agricultural area, many farm stands in the summer, creameries, and wineries. Cowichan Valley is home to 14 wineries, Averill Creek will be the first stop on your wine tour, mins from the house. This is a foodie area, many great dining options tucked away. The access to fresh meat, vegetables, and seafood year around is a real draw for chefs! Our area is rich in mushrooms, the holy grail for chefs. Our area has 8 golf courses, Cowichan Golf Club is a short drive and a beautiful, mature course. Fishing is big here! The Cowichan River and lake is world renowned as one of the best fly-fishing spots. There is cutthroat, rainbow, brown trout and steelhead. Port Renfrew is 1 hr drive if you are looking to catch salmon, halibut, ling cod or crab. A cleaning fee of $150Cdn will be required for each stay.
