Was Sie an dieser Unterkunft lieben werden

Our house, "Bakerview,“ is situated on just under one acre of private low bank waterfront in Mill Bay (45 minutes from Victoria, the capital city). We have panoramic views of Mt. Baker and the Saanich Inlet from all the main rooms of the house. The house is temperature controlled by a Geo thermal unit and has red oak hardwood and ceramic tile floors. The spacious rooms contain a mixture of contemporary and antique furniture, as well as art and collectables from our travels. Our four bedrooms have a variety of bed configurations; a queen, two double beds and two single beds (we also have a pac and play for a baby). We have three complete bathrooms, two with tubs and one with a shower. We love to cook and entertain and the large gourmet kitchen is completely equipped. The dining room opens out on to a covered porch which we enjoy for summer meals. The family room opens onto large deck with hot tub, which is a perfect place to watch the sun rising for the day. The expansive lawn and garden lead to a gazebo and patio overlooking the ocean.

We live steps away from Brentwood College School in Mill Bay, one of the foremost private schools in Canada. The house is seconds away from an excellent full service shopping centre with a large supermarket, pharmacy, two banks, post office, library and more. We are also close to a small marina that has kayak and paddle board rentals, yoga on the dock, and a bistro restaurant. We are a short 45 minute drive to Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia, and 20 minutes to Duncan. There are many farm to table restaurants and wineries in our Cowichan Valley, the "Warmland," to enjoy and explore. Many outdoor activities including hiking, kayaking, swimming, mountain bike riding are at our finger tips.

Zusätzliche Informationen

Our low bank waterfront is easily accessible from the property. We are lucky to see eagles and occasionally whales from the gazebo. We have two kayaks and two bicycles for guests to use. Our property is completely private and yet close to many amenities. We love our home and location on Vancouver Island and are happy to share travel ideas and plans with our guests.
