My home is my castle. I renovated it with love and passion in a kind of ethnic / traditional way. I have a large terrasse with beautiful view of olive and almond trees. It is a very quiet spot with hardly any noise and light pollution.

The hose lies in the village of Gökceovacik, 9 km away from the falmouth Yachting center Göcek, on the South West coast of Turkey. Dalaman airport is only 30 min drive and offers several daily flights to Istanbul airport.

My home is very nicely decorated with reproduction art and traditional Turkish antique furnitures, combined with some modern features. It has a traditional fireplace in the kitchen and a wood burning stove in the living room. The rooms are small but very cosy. In front of the house is a large terrasse with beautiful views of the country side, olive and almond trees and hill tops.

My neighbour hood is very quiet and idyllic, with old stone buildings around. Foreign and local neighbours, some of them english speaking. It only takes a 9 km ride to the famous yachting town Göcek, where you can enjoy a choice of restaurants, bars and shopping possibilities including the local Sunday market. A 20 min drive will take you to the beach and a 30 min drive to the Dalaman airport with several flights/day to Istanbul. There is a lot of sight seeing around, such as ancient sites and beautiful Kaunas, Dalyan river, Ölüdeniz and Patara beach, Santos, Tlos, Pinara and many more ancient sites.

This place is suitable for anyone who is looking for peace and tranquility and a simple life style. You will have to heat with a wooden stove and there are occasional power cuts, but never longer than half an hour and not daily.The nearest supermarkets are 9 km away so would need to hire a car, which is reasonable here. Nearby you have a bubbly yachting town with all facilities, like restaurant, bars, supermarkets, fashion and souvenir shops, spas and gyms. But the town only rund half the capacity in winter months ( December til April )
