We love to travel, so our home is modernly furnished and decorated with art work from across the globe. Our home is definitely a relaxing place to be in after a busy day of walking, sightseeing and hiking! We’ve got a spacious balance/patio to relax, have some wine and BBQ!

Our home is located Central Burnaby and a 35 minute sky train to Vancouver Downtown and the North Shore mountains. We are a 10 minute bus ride to the nearest skytrain station - Holdom Skytrain. Distance from Vancouver Airport (YVR): 40 minute drive or 60 minute train ride The home: We have a bright three bedroom modern 1300 sqft home. We have a balcony/patio equipped with a BBQ and fireplace, perfect all year round. Nearby Restaurants: We’ve got the chain restaurants such as Earls, Cactus, White Spot, Joeys and Browns Social House. Things to do/attractions: In the summer: Do a local hike on the North Shore. 1. If you really walk to challenge yourself to steep climbing, check out the Grouse Grind on Grouse Mountain. It takes the average person 1 hr 30 min to hike to the top. Once you get there you can enjoy the beautiful sites of Vancouver, have lunch at the various restaurants, have a picnic, go ziplining, check out the bears and much more! To get down, you can take the gondola for $10. An alternative option to hiking is taking the tram round trip (approx 15min ride) and costs about $40 pp. 2. Hike Deep Cove. This is a beautiful walk with beautiful views and approximately 1.5 hrs one way. After your hike is over, go for a kayak through deep cove (or save this for another day) or grab lunch at the many restaurants and don’t forgot to grab a cake donut at Honey’s (one of Vancouver’s best). 3. Hike Cypress Mountain 4. Go downhill mountain biking In the winter: 1. Go snowboarding, skiing, snowshoeing in one of the many local mountains such as Grouse, Cypress and Mount Seymour (all 20-30 minutes away). 2. Ski/snowboarding in Whistler (2hr drive) 3. Go watch a hockey game. Check out what Vancouver has to offer: 1. Take the train to downtown Vancouver and walk to Stanley Park, Gastown, aquabus/taxi to Granville Island 2. Watch a football (soccer) game at BC place. Our team is the Vancouver Whitecaps. 3. Watch a hockey game (Vancouver Canucks)at Rogers Arena 4. Go to a concert at Rogers Arena 5. Watch a baseball games (our team is the Vancouver Canadians) 6. Let the kid in your out and go to PNE/Playland 7. Eat! 8. Checkout the different areas of Vancouver: Mt Pleasant/Main Street, Kitsilano, Yaletown, Gastown, the west end, Coal Harbour Things to see and do outside of Vancouver: 1. Drive to Whistler (2hrs one way) 2. Take the ferry to Victoria (1.5hrs on ferry), Sunshine Coast (40 minutes on ferry), Bowen Island (20 minutes on ferry) and many more! 3. Drive to Seattle and watch a Mariners Game, shop, eat and check out Pike Place Market. 4. Drive to Kelowna (BC’s best wineries are located out here). Approximately 4.5 hr drive one way. 5. Drive to Banff, Alberta. Approximately 10hr drive. For more things to do and exciting hikes, please ask! I have some many great options for all types of adventures! Also Vancouver is a great place to just eat, so please ask!
