Was Sie an dieser Unterkunft lieben werden

Bright and spacious apartment on 10th and 11th floor in a family-friendly neighbourhood centrally located in the greater capital area of Reykjavik. Our apartment has five bedrooms, where the master bedroom has a double bed (160x200 cm) and the four kids bedroom (140x200 cm bed in each room). The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, microwave oven and a coffee machine. The living room includes a 64" TV and we have a high speed WiFi connection. The apartment also has laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer. We have two balconies facing southeast with exceptional views over Heiðmörk Nature Reserve. The apartment building has shared garden with a small playground. The building has an elevator. It takes around 10-15 minutes to drive to downtown Reykjavik. It is also possible to take the bus. There is only a 2 min walk to the next bus stop and the ride to city centre takes 20 min. Surroundings Local swimming pool (Salalaug): Only 10 min walk from the apartment. It has both outdoor and indoor pools, including a children´s pool, water slide, steam bath, and three hot tubs. There is also a gym in the same building as the swimming pool. Local school: If you have kids there is playground, basketball and a football field at the local school. 2 min walk away. Heidmork (only 2 km away) has some interesting geological formations on the east side and great views from the hills on the west side. There are hiking trails all over the park as well as horse riding trails. The roads are unsealed though. You could spend a whole day exploring here. Golf course: For golf enthusiasts there is an 18 hole golf course nearby (English version website: http://gkggolf.is/). 10 min drive. Smaralind shopping centre, restaurants and cinema http://www.smaralind.is/english 5 min drive by car or the bus. Blue lagoon, 35 min drive http://www.bluelagoon.com/ Þingvellir 45 min drive

Please note! The greater capital area is quite small. For example it only takes 15-20 min to drive by car to down town Reykjavik. Main attractions close by the apartment: - Golf course: For golf enthusiasts there is an 18 hole golf course nearby (English version website: http://gkggolf.is/). 10 min drive. - Local swimming pool (Salalaug): Our favourite place in our neighbourhood and only 10 min walk from the apartment. It has both outdoor and indoor pools, including a children´s pool, water slide, steam bath, and three hot tubs. There is also a gym in the same building as the swimming pool. Opening hours during the summer time: Monday to Friday from 06:30 - 22:00 and Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 - 20:00 - Heiðmörk Nature Reserve: Only 2 km away is one of our favourite places near the city. Heiðmörk is a large park with some interesting geological formations on the east side and great views from the hills on the west side. There are hiking trails all over the park as well as horse riding trails. The roads are unsealed though.
