My fiancée and I live in two apartments in Paris. Sometimes we're in her apartment, sometimes in mine, we haven’t chosen to live here or here for the moment because we love both appartments ! That makes possible a non simultaneous exchange, because there will be at least one apartment free anyway.

First apartment (first ten photos).
It’s a nice one roomed flat (50 m2) in the south of Paris, with a very beautiful view on the « parc Montsouris », one of the four main Paris parks. It’s very sunny and quiet (only three other apartments in the building). I live here for ten years now, and I still don’t grow tired of it.
There’s a « futon » (a japanese ecological mattress) as a bed, which can be easily transformed in a sofa (see photos). There are also an Internet (and Wifi) access, a TV and dvd player, a Hi-fi system, a washing machine.
The kitchen is large enough to be used as a dining room for two.
There’s a comfortable air mattress for a third person if necessary.

Second apartment (from the 11th photo)
It’s a three roomed flat (60m2) in the north of the city, with a view on a park too (this time, the « Buttes Chaumont »). A typical parisian apartment with a wooden floor, a little chimney and mouldings on the ceiling. There are a living and a dining room, which are separated by folding wooden doors, so it’s possible to have some privacy. The flat is cosy and there’s a possibility of two more persons who can easily sleep in the living room on a sofa bed. And another mattress is usable for one more person.
It’s also very comfortable : there’s an Internet (and Wifi) access, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a Hi-fi system…

First apartment.
It’s the south of Paris « intra muros », the « XIVth arrondissement », known for its quietness. The park is a nice place to walk, with children, joggers, birds and a little pond. From here, you’re 15 minutes with the subway to Montparnasse (great view on Paris from the top of the tower) ans the « Quartier Latin », full of monuments and traces of great past (the Sorbonne University), of little streets with shops, students bars and restaurants. All the great places are less than 40 minutes from here : the Louvre Museum (25’ with the bus), the Eiffel tower (25’ with the subway), Bastille (25’ with the subway), etc. It’s a convenient place to visit the city and a nice place to rest after a day visiting.

Second apartment
The « Buttes-Chaumont » is in the « XIXth arrondissement », in the north-east of Paris. It’s a pleasant district near Belleville, both popular and trendy, with a mix of population. A little walk (10’ max) and you can find nice bars and restaurants of different styles : wine bars, great Asian food or simply typical French « cuisine ». There’s a direct way to the center of Paris by subway (15’ to reach Les Halles, 10’ to République and Père Lachaise), and you’re also 15’-20’ from Montmartre and Pigalle, old and typical districts in the north of the city. A charming district still sheltered from tourism.

The two apartments are available for SIMULTANEOUS OR NON SIMULTANEOUS EXCHANGE.
