Our Home
Funen is the heart of Danmark. We live 500m from The Little Belt and beaches, with a fantastic panorama from the balcony on the second floor. Our house is 100 years old and is situated a 3min walk from the center of the city. The 220 squaremetres are divided in two floors. There is a big livingroom with a woodburning stove. The garden is a big old fruitgarden, constructed for pleasure and play. We are not far from Copenhagen and the westcoast is reachable in 1½h by car.

Our Neighborhood
The town has two beaches, a harbour and a nice marina. You can shop, visit restaurants, cafés, museums, the cinema or go for a walk in the park. We are situated in a pleasant and quiet area of the town, which has apr. 6.000 inhabitants. Assens is a very old town with small houses and narrow streets - some from the 15. century. Take a trip to the island Bogoe with the little ferry from the harbour or spend the day fishing. The nearby peninsula Helnæs has a very beautiful nature area.
In a range of 40km you will be able to visit Egeskov Slot (A renaissance castle and adventure park), The Zoo, HC Andersens house, Fjord og Baelt Centeret (A place to learn about the Belt) and other towns by the sea. Legoland is not far.
A 1½ hours drive will bring you to Copenhagen via The Great Belt Brigde. You can also get there by bus and train.
