Architect designed, hilltop home in the picturesque town of Blue Hill. Distant ocean view. Bright and airy. Convenient to town, set on 5 acres. High speed internet. New appliances. Granite counters. Open living plan, cathedral ceiling. Fire place. Uncluttered. Tastefully furnished, fully equipped. (Yes, there is a lobster pot!) Bedroom with king, bedroom with bunk bed, large guest bedroom with sitting area and queen bed. Two bathrooms, one with walk-in shower, the other with a bath. Radiant heated floors, heated towel racks. Flat screen for movies and gaming. Bose iPod speakers, board games and Lego's. Canoe, small kayak. Cool in summer, cozy in winter.

Our Neighborhood
The Blue Hill peninsula is simply breathtaking. Wide open ocean views everywhere. Go beach combing or walk to an island at low tide. Climb Blue Hill and take in the magnificent view. Go blueberry picking. Take a romantic walk on the The Barrens. Go kayaking. Enjoy a summer concert at famous Kneisel Hall. Visit a few of the many galleries. Enjoy a boat trip with MERI or in Stonington, and learn about lobstering, see some seals. The Maine waters surrounding the Blue Hill peninsula offer some of the best sailing in the world (Eggemoggin Reach!). Acadia National Park is 45 minutes away.

Due to our kid's school schedules, we are limited to traveling during school vacations. Our Maine home is available most of the year, so exchanges do not have to be simultaneous.

We have two easygoing boys of 18 and 13. We enjoy our Maine house whenever we can, but also like to explore new places. We love nature, music, art, and for most school breaks we are pretty much ready to go anyplace interesting.
