Lovely Home with beautiful Sydney Harbour Views.

You could travel the world and not find a nicer place than Fairlight/Manly in Sydney, Australia. We are located in Fairlight (next suburb to Manly). It takes 8 minutes to walk to Manly or a two minute bus ride 1 minute away from our home. Manly is abuzz with, restaurants, bars, lawn bowls, Manly beach and Manly Ferries. You can get a ferry into the city in 30 minutes or a jet cat in 15 minutes to visit our famous Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

We have lovely house with beautiful harbour views. You can sit in the lounge room, on the balcony or cook in the kitchen and watch the Manly Ferries, Jetcats and many beautiful boats go by.

By night in summer you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets, and all year round can enjoy the city and boat lights. It’s a very quiet area with a lovely neighbourhood. There is a nice set of shops 1 minute walk away and then if you head down the road you are 3 minutes walk from beautiful Fairlight beach.

This beach is hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Manly but close enough to walk, approximately 3-5 minutes away along the most beautiful harbour setting and waterfront reserves.

We have a three bedroom home, with one currently being used as an office. We have a flat garden, a bbq for you to enjoy the sunshine whilst cooking lunch or dinner and enjoying a glass of wine or cold beer.

The large open plan main living area is combined with the dining area. Large sliding windows and doors open onto the balcony overlooking the harbour.

Our place is light, bright and open. The lower level leads onto a terrace and that backs onto a grassed area where you can enjoy a game of boulle in the sunshine.

We have an ensuite off the main bedroom and a second bathroom with bath. We also have a third room with toilet and wash basin and a separate laundry.

A car swap may also be possible.

Manly offers a host of wonderful cafes and restaurants, only minutes away by car or a stroll down the road and along the harbour front. A sports and recreation paradise with a choice of golf, tennis, lawn bowls, surfing, swimming, cycling, jogging, harbour walks and much more.

Site seeing: At the Manly aquarium you might choose to swim with the sharks! It is said that Manly is 7 miles from Sydney and 1,000 miles from care!

The suburb of Manly has over 20 ocean and harbour beaches, national parkland, 47 bush reserves and many sporting facilities. It is no wonder that an estimated 7 million visitors are attracted to Manly every year.

Other local attractions include Taroonga Zoo,the most magical beaches in the world, including Fairlight which is just a walk down the road. The zoo is a most enjoyable day for children and / or adults.

Hire bikes and enjoy the beautiful esplanade at Manly.

We would like to plan an international trip in 2010 overseas, Italy and France. However we are also interested in local house swaps where we can go back to the same place each year for a week or 10 days at a time.

We would like to build a rapport with a family to continue a house swap suitable to both families.

People who visit our home love it because of the great backyard, magical water views and open and bright home. We have a double bed in the main bedroom, a single bed in our son's room and a sofa lounge in the downstairs dining area (that is not currently in the photos). We also have a single matress that can be placed in the second bedroom with the other single bed if needed.

We are a Sydney based family with one son which will be 5 in March 2010. We are a professional couple who enjoy the outdoors, good food, wine and the company of friends and family.
