Our Home
We offer a design duplex family apartment right on the beach in the protected and child friendly sea shore area of El Campello, overlooking the sea and car free promenade. About ten kilometers of beach and promenade to play, stroll or cycle!
The building is called Casa Sinuosa, because of it's sine shaped floors. It's the most striking building on the sea shore promenade, getting much attention from passers-by because of it's extraordinary design, inspired by the sea. We find the sea in many details: the round shape of walls and windows (remembering of a ship), the stones and shells incorporated in the bathrooms and the wood coming from the beach used for several pieces of furniture.
The apartment is situated on the second and upper floor and has a high standard kitchen, a modern, small but cosy living, 2 bathrooms and 4 balconies to enjoy the sun or the shade any moment of the day. It sleeps 5. The main bedroom offers two (individual) beds. The second offers three(!) especially designed wooden bunk beds and the third bedroom has a sofa bed (in case somebody wishes to sleep alone), a writing desk and a computer connection.
The garage is situated in the same street (250 meters from the apartment).
The apartment is also for rent: www.spain-holiday.com, ID 12027

Our Neighborhood
El Campello, a former fishermans village, is a typical Spanish village, frequented more by locals than by foreign tourists.
The sea shore area is still a beautiful and relaxing place to spend your holiday. Our apartment is situated right on the beach, with it's beautiful 2 kilometer promenade along it. It's one of the few car free promenades on the Costa Blanca, so children can stroll and play without a problem. You even can keep an eye on them from the apartment terrace, overlooking beach and sea. The sandy beach offers play and sports facilities (such as climbing frames and volleybal nets). Walkers, cyclists and runners enjoy beach and boulevard towards the village of San Juan in the south. At sunset locals gather on the promenade chatting and enjoying ice creams. There are lots of small shops and restaurants. You'll find Spanish tapa bars next to modern lounge bars, but not the hassle of noisy discotheques which are outside the sea shore area. Fresh fish is sold every day at the fish auction in the local harbour, only a 5 minute walk away.
The walk to the local train station also takes 5 minutes. The train takes you in half an hour to Alicante, the capital of the department with the same name. It's a lively Spanish city with marvelous sea views from the castle on the mountain and the esplanada along the harbour. It's the right place for shopping and dining, and don't forget the cultural performances in the local theatres. Towards the north there are the city of Benidorm (remarcable for it's long and sandy beaches) and the village of Denia. The train ride along the coast is offering lots of scenic views of the Mediterranean sea.
The mountains are only twenty minutes away by car and offer lots of possibilities for hiking and biking. Alicante airport can be reached by car or taxi within half an hour. Cars can be rented at the airport or with local rental companies. If you plan to stay in the coastal area, a car is not really necessary.

About Us
We are a Dutch family. Five years ago we made our dream come true moving to Spain. We are two adults and three girls (11,13 and 15 years old). We lived in Alicante for about one year and afterwards moved to a quiet village very close to Barcelona which we also exchange. We still have our appartment at the beach in Alicante because it's such a relaxing place to be!
