AVAILABLE TO YOU FOR A NON SIMULTANEOUS EXCHANGE ANYTIME IN JUNE OR JULY TO 21ST FOR A LONG WEEKEND OR LONGER IN THE MOUNTAINS!! The natural beauty will renew you and our 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bathroom mountain home can sleep 8 comfortably. There is a king bed, queen bed, two single beds and in addition there are two queen sofa sleepers. It is located on a cul-de-sac so there is no traffic and it is safe and on about half an acre. It is a short easy walk to town. There are three TVs, and a DVD. A guest suite is downstairs with an adjoining bathroom and TV. Also, there are two large decks on the front and back of the home for dining outside or enjoying the views. A gazebo with a porch swing is a great place to watch the blue jays, squirrels, and rabbits.

Idyllwild is best known for great hiking for all levels of hikers, mountain biking, rock climbing and it's listed in the nations top 100 art communities with galleries and productions by the performing arts center. Also there is a yearly jazz festival in August. All times of the year are special here and you can enjoy the changing seasons with millions of stars at night.
The elevation is about 5,200 feet and there is snow occasionally in the winter. There are wonderful restaurants with several that offer live music also various shops, a visitors center with nature trails, and a theater. It is a short easy walk to town(a village with no signals) and to Strawberry Creek from our mountain home. It is a short drive of about 15 minutes to Lake Hemet (boat rental) and Lake Fulmor for fishing, walking and picnicking. The Pines to Palms Scenic Highway is a beautiful drive to the Palm Springs area with many golf courses, a water park and shopping. In addition take the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway to the top of San Jacinto State Park. In Palm Desert enjoy the Living Desert Zoo in only 45 minutes. An enjoyable day trip is Joshua Tree National Park. Also, the Cabazon outlet center is great for discount shopping.

We are both retired so we are open and flexible to any time of the year. Either a simultaneous or non-simultaneous exchange can work for us. Also we've done some repeat exchanges and do several exchanges a year. Long weekends to several weeks will probably work out best any time of the year, but we are open to your ideas so let us hear from you.

We mostly enjoy the coast, mountains, lakes and views near any destination. It is possible we could add this exchange to our Huntington Beach home, if you are interested. We are open and flexible to most any destination. Also, if you have a vacation second home it is always interesting to us. Non-simultaneous exchanges work best and we try to be flexible to your needs. California long weekends are fun too!

Mark is a retired businessman and Julie is newly retired from teaching at a local elementary school and we both retired early in our 50s. We love to travel and have almost completed 70 wonderful exchanges. We keep active by hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, tennis and many sports with family and friends. We have two married children and a grandson and grand daughter that live nearby in Orange County. There will be two of us traveling, but depending on the exchange we might ask another couple if it is agreeable with you. We are a non-smoking couple and our home is no smoking and we request the same. We will take excellent care of your home and we hope you will take good care of ours too.
