Our Home
Our 3 bedroom, 140 m2 house ( 1985) is situated on the West side of Amsterdam
(Osdorp) near the Amsterdam centre ( 15 min by tram), the ringroad (5min),airport ( 15 min) and beaches ( 30 min). It has a comfortable living room with open kitchen with most appliances, a garden (10x5m), 3 bedrooms upstairs and an attic with an extra bed.
Our Neighborhood
Our neighbourhood is residential, safe and quiet.Our 2 kids go to school there. Basic stores are 5 min on foot, more are situated in a mall 10 mins by tram. Two bikes are available.
For serious shopping you will need to go into Amsterdam town (20 min by tram, bike or car).

Our Dates
We are currently limited to the following dates: 12/7 to 15/8 in the summer holidays for a multiple week exchange(s). Our house is also available from 27/04 to 05/05 2009 for a one week exchange.
Our Destinations
We are interested initially in : Canada, US (west coast) and Italy. Also
in Costa Rica,but open to other suggestions.
We enjoy travel and the exploration of foreign culture and are open to all exchange suggestions.

About Us
We are a family of four. Ivar ( 44) and Ilse ( 37) are teachers, Noah ( 5) and Lois ( 3) are well behaved and playful kids. No pets, one car. We are non- smokers and enjoy sports and outdoor activities.
