We live for 15 years already in an old remodeled wooden chalet. With a wonderfull garden.
Our street is a very quiet residential area, most single homes. But only 10 walking minutes to shops, banks, pharmacy and so on.You'll see on our fotos how it looks.We love it.
Perfect also for families with children: Beside the garden with the pool, there is a public school sports ground 300 meters away.

Walking 5 minutes you are in nature,hiking,biking, view on the swiss alps,wonderfull sunsets, 5 minutes by car you find shopping,bank,post,very good restaurants,physician,central hospital,pharmacy, tennis, fitness center,forest.
A physician for children you will find 200 m from our home in our street.

Highway entrance 6 minutes,train station 3 minutes,international airport 30 minutes, regional airport 15 minutes.
Bus station 500 meters.

In a range from 15 to 25 minutes there are theaters, cinema, shopping malls,
art galeries,thermal baths, differents wonderfull historic towns and many castles to visit nearby,also churches from every denomination (pentecostal,baptist and others, also english,french,spanish,portuguese spoken).

Zurich is the center of Switzerland in culture, with outstanding restaurants, great shopping (famous "Bahnhofstrasse"),wonderful historic town, lake.

From our home you reach in 45 minutes famous german region of Black forest,1 hour to Lucerne, in 1 1/2 to 2 hours:
Swiss alps,skiing also in summer,famous France region of "Elsass" with it's capital Strassbourg.
In 3 hours: Geneva, lake of Geneva,also Lugano in italian part of Switzerland
3 1/2 hours: " Matterhorn", most famous swiss mountain !
4 hours by train: Paris, capital of France (high velocity train); Milan, Italy

In 2013 we can travel in April,July and October

We like very much the USA and have been in the New York area, Florida, California, Massachusetts.It will be our 4th exchange.
All locations in the US are interesting for us, but we will consider any destination

I, Mark,am a teacher in french,german,history,maths and other subjects to teenagers from 12 to 16 years.
For over 15 years I was a sales manager for a Swiss company.
Lilly, my wife,stays at home, our two sons from 24 and 33 are in politics studies and teaching.

We lived all over in Switzerland and during the last 20 years we traveled in average all two years to the USA. We love it.It will be our 4th exchange.All our exchanges have been very succesfull.

"Bob" our 8 year old dog is a new foundland and the darling of everybody.
During your stay he will not be there.
We have many friends in this area, from different countries, also english speaking.
