I still need to finish painting the exterior, and I\'m currently working on the lawn, but that should all be done by this summer.
Full-size bed in here
If you don\'t want to bring your own bikes, you can rent them downtown at Paradise Creek Bicycles.
We are in a very unique geographical area called the palouse. The area is known for its wheat, lentils, canola, and other grains.
The fields turns golden as they become ready to harvest.
If you like barns and/or photography, you\'ll probably really like this area.
This place is great! You can spend the entire day here with 63 acres of trees, paths, and ponds with ducks and turtles. The School of Music puts on a summer concert here every year too.
The campus is over 1,500 acres and is really quite pretty.
This is 15 minutes away. There\'s a hiking trail that goes around the reservoir.
This is a 30-minute scenic drive away.
Outfitters can be hired in Lewiston (45 minutes south of Moscow) that can bring you into Hells Canyon.
Only an hour and a half north of Moscow, Coeur d\'Alene is a great day trip.

The Home
My recently built home is very comfortable. There is a gas fireplace in the living room along with satellite tv, Wii, and DVD player. The kitchen has butcher block countertops and a gas range.
The upstairs bedrooms are cozy with sloped ceilings and skylights. The downstairs bedroom has its own connected bathroom, so there are essentially 2 master suites.
There are plenty of games and puzzles, and even a guitar for you to use. The garage is not used as a garage but as a ping pong room, so if you like ping pong, you're in luck!
The last bit of exerior painting and hopefully the lawn will be finished before this winter.
I own this property.

The Neighborhood
The house is in a friendly residential neighborhood in a part of Moscow that is full of small, cute, older homes. It's only blocks away from downtown Moscow and the U of I campus. There are always people walking by, so if you're feeling social, it's a great place to hang out on the porch and meet new people. There's also a hammock that's nice to lounge in with a good book.
Moscow, home to the University of Idaho, is a progressive, friendly college town of approximately 25,000 people. There is a beautiful rails to trails bike path about 3 blocks from the house that goes 15 miles east to Troy, Idaho, or 9 miles west into Pullman, Washington, home of Washington State University. Nowhere else are 2 land grant universities so physically close to one another...at least that's what I've heard.
Moscow is called the "Heart of the Arts" and is included in the book "The 100 Best Small Art Towns in America". It has live theater, live music, independent and foreign films downtown and on campus, museums, galleries, bookstores, and coffeehouses. In addition to Moscow's artsy side, there are plenty of college sports to keep you entertained for both the University of Idaho Vandals and Washington State University Cougars.
Lewiston is 40 miles to the south, where you can hire an outfitter for a trip through Hells Canyon. Lake Coeur d'Alene is 1.5 hrs to the north and is a beautiful area to spend the day.
This is a very popular area for landscape photography.

The Destination
Open to any destination. I can't do any exchanges with families with indoor furry or feathered pets, but other than that, I'm flexible.
The People
I am Sharon, a self-employed bookkeeper for several small businesses in town, payroll specialist at the local hospital, and a guesthouse proprietor. Nikki and Jack, ages 16 and 10 respectively, are my well-behaved children, and they may come with me for the exchange or it may just be me and possibly a friend. We have a turtle that could either stay here or go somewhere else during the exchange.
I do not smoke, and my kids and I always take our shoes off when we enter a house.
