A large home, two double bedrooms (QS beds), 3rd bedroom currently used as a hobby room but a double Aero inflatable (very comfortable) bed is available, 3 modern bathrooms, TV room (could be used as another bedroom with nearby bathroom), combined lounge/dining, large combined kitchen/family also with TV. The home is well decorated and very comfortably furnished with good quality items, all in good condition. All the electrical equipment has detailed instructions so you don't spend days wondering how to get it to work. The kitchen is very well equipped to suit cooks up to gourmet level. We are hoping to exchange with homes which also have well equipped kitchens so we can take advantage of the local produce and eat in. The house for also has air-conditioning and ceiling fans for year round comfort.

The house is open and airy, with a very pleasant outlook and outdoor areas. There is a dining area inside and we can dine outside all year round - upstairs there is a large deck with table and chairs and downstairs a private paved area, also with table and chairs and with a gas BBQ and a large retractable awning providing lots of shade and a pleasant entertaining area for a crowd.

The walk to Forresters Beach is less than 100m - in summer we swim each day, in winter we walk on the beach. The house is over 3 levels so there are some some stairs. You can drive to Sydney in 1.5 hours or the same by train. Newcastle and the Hunter Valley wine area is within a 45 minute drive. There are national parks in all directions and there are also many good, well known diving areas. The surfing beaches are good and we have a 2 good bikes so you can ride around the lakes and the local bike paths.

We are very civilised, caring homeowners. We live well and we enjoy our surroundings and take care of our own and other's possessions.

On the Central Coast of NSW, an area about 50km north of Sydney "as the crow flies", about 1.5 hours by car and train and 8km north of Terrigal. Very green, leafy, rolling hills - a great summer holiday area with many beautiful beaches. Very warm for good surfing in summer and usually no less than 13c in winter - and all year round sunshine and blue skies. Forresters Beach is not patrolled, i.e. it has no life guard however with care it is still good for swimming (we swim there). There are also many beautiful patrolled beaches to suit all ages within a 15 minute drive. Nearby Terrigal and Avocxa are great spots for divin. It's an area that comes into its own in summer although the weather is still very pleasant in winter.

Nearby there are numerous national parks. The wineries of the Hunter Valley are a 1 hour drive. Our area is hilly but we carry our bikes on the back of the car and can ride around Tuggerah Lake, Brisbane Waters, The Entrance or as far as you would like.

We are interested in any country, we don't need simultaneous exchanges and can travel any time. We are hoping for some exchanges up to 3 months. We are open to offers in late 2013 and after. Don't hesitate to make a suggestion - we are happy to go anywhere.

We are relatively new retirees who have travelled to Europe, South Africa, Asia, the Americas - all the continents - many times and we can now travel anywhere and at any time of year. There are many more places to see and we are happy in cities or off the 'beaten track'. In 2009 we spent 6 months in Europe on 6 home exchanges. We are happy - and hoping - to have exchanges of up to 3 months although not necessarily simultaneous as we also have an apartment in Sydney (listing No. 98085).
