My home is a small cosy semi-detached house within 5 minutes walk of the market town of Bedale. Comprising of lounge, kitchen and dining area. There are 2 bedrooms, one with king size bed,one with double bed, 3rd bedroom is small with a single bed. A mainline railway station is 20 mins drive away, at Northallerton,and a bus service from Bedale.

Bedale is in the heart of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, surrounded by stunning scenery, small Yorkshire villages and market towns. There are lots of country hotels and public houses serving excellent food. Bedale and the nearby towns have several restaurants with varied cuisine. The nearest cities are the ancient cities of York and Durham. It is central for touring the Lake District, which is very popular with ramblers, and Scotland is within easy reach. Both East and West coasts are within distance for a day visit. The East coast being particularly stunning, with it's beaches and interesting historical seaside towns and castles.Including Whitby,where Captain Cook started his journey when he discovered Australia.
There are several golf courses and horse race courses around, tennis ( Bedale Tennis Club will make you welcome)horse riding, fishing,2 theme parks. Walking is a favorite pastime, as there are lots of public footpaths.

I am needing to move to Australia to care for my daughter. My family live in the Lilydale area. But anything would be considered.
So. I require long term exchange or rental.

If I do not get an exchange, then my property in England would be available to enyone for long term rental.

We are John and Doris. We are mid-sixties, John is a retired teacher and I am a retired Mental Health Nurse. We are partners and each have our own homes which makes non-simultaneous exchange possible. Doris's 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren live in Victoria Australia, so this is obviously the country of choice, but not necessarily the only choice. We are adventurous travelers and are open to suggestions.
Our hobbies and interests are,tennis, badminton,theatre,cinema,travel, socializing with friends
