We live in a modern 2 storey villa (1 of 2 on right) in a quiet street 200 metres west of Miami beach and close to the Gold Coast Highway. We have a secure garage and carport. At the back is a courtyard under a Bali Hut for entertaining. On the bottom level there are two separate areas for relaxing and television viewing, a kitchen, laundry and toilet. On the top level are 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a separate computer/office area. The main bedroom has a queen size bed, an ensuite, TV and a balcony. The other two bedrooms are one queen and one king double.

The Gold Coast is Australia's premier holiday resort. Our neighbourhood is a much sort after area for both permanent living and holidaying. Miami is in the centre of the 20km Gold Coast strip. Our beautiful white sand surfing beach has lifeguard patrol. Standing at our beach you can see all the way to both the northern and southern Gold Coast beaches. We are very close to public transport, and all types of shops, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. However our neighbourhood is a quiet, family community. There are Theme Parks, world class Shopping Malls, Casino, world class Golf Courses, waterways, and a hinterland of rainforests for walking all within easy driving distance. We are 1 hour south of Brisbane International Airport, and 1/2 hour north of Cooloongatta Airport for domestic travel. A train to Brisbane and Brisbane Airport is 10 minutes from here. It is an easy 1/2 hour drive south across the border into New South Wales(Byron Bay 1 hour)for more beautiful beaches and scenic drives into the hinterland.

We are keen for anywhere worldwide that will enable us to surf or ski.

Frank (55) is a secondary school physical education teacher and Gayle (55)is a primary school teacher. We have 2 children, Elise (24) who is a lawyer and is living and working in Brisbane, and Sam (22) who is studying Law at Gold Coast University and living at home. Our interests are all types of sport, especially surfing and skiing. We have bikes and surf boards for your use. We have had 2 teaching/home exchanges for a year each in Britain and Canada. We have also had very successful holiday home exchanges to Britain, Indonesia, France, Spain, New Zealand, California and Sydney. Mostly it will be the two of us travelling, but our daughter and son may join us sometimes.
