4 bedrooms (7/8 sleeping couches):

- master bedroom with a double bed & design master shower room
- guest room with a sofa convertible into a bed for 2 people
Upstairs:
- our daughter's bedroom with 1 single bed & 1 pullout bed
- our son's bedroom with 1 single bed & 1 pullout bed (the 2 single beds can be converted into a double bed for a couple)

Ideally located in the 15th district of Paris at a 15 mn walk from the Champs de Mars and the Eiffel Tower, our home is very close to the lively and famous "Rue du Commerce" with all its shops, bakeries (with the best "baguette" of Paris), cheese and wine merchants, perfumers, chocolate makers and apparel stores.
Many good restaurants all around.
50 m from the metro and buses.
Easy access to museums, theatres, cinemas and all Paris attractions. Euro Disney or Versailles are easy to reach from here.
2 hours from the castles of the Loire Valley, 2 hours from the D-day beaches, Normandy, 1 hour from the Champagne area, 1,5 hour from the Burgundy wine region.

A Paris, 15ème arrondissement, idéalement situé, à 15 mn à pieds du Champs de Mars et de la Tour Eiffel, dans un quartier très sympa et animé, plein de boutiques et de commerces de bouche.
Des tas de bons restaurants aux alentours.
A 50 m du métro et des bus.
Très bien situé pour visiter Paris, ses musées, spectacles, expos et attractions. Nous pourrons vous indiquer les pièces de théâtre sympas du moment et même vous obtenir des réductions pour certaines pièces. 2 salles de cinéma situées à 10 mn à pieds.
Vous pourrez visiter EuroDisney, Versailles. A 2h des Châteaux de la Loire, des plages du débarquement, de la Normandie et à une heure de la Champagne et à 1h30 de la Bourgogne...

If you like theatre, we can let you take advantage of some special rates. We'll advice you on what to do and where to go in Paris when you'll come. We'll give you a list of our favorite restaurants in the neighborhood and in Paris in general. Our very nice neighbours can help you during your stay.

We have already done 17 exchanges in 6 years: New York, Florida and Los Angeles in the USA, Acapulco in Mexico, several times in Marrakech in Morroco, Spain, England, Avignon, Corsica, Marseille in France, Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Garda lake in Italy, Phuket, Vaux sur mer, les Carroz d'Arraches and Mégève so we start to be quite used to it... All the people who have exchanged with us have been delighted by their stay at our home and we've kept many friends.
We've already planned to exchange with Curaçao in August 2013.

My husband Francois is 40 and he's anesthesiologist. He likes to paint modern art, do sculpture and trekking during his free time. I'm Stephanie and I'm 38. Before our wedding, I used to work in a start-up in the textile business worldwide. Now, I help my husband with its accountancy and raise our 2 kids: Alice, our 8 year old daughter and Mathieu (4 years old). I love making new friends, traveling and organizing trips and dinners. I'm currently learning Italian and therefore, would like to go to Italy as often as possible...

We love going abroad and discover new cultures. We love modern art and design. We love to visit cities but also to go to the countryside to walk, do horse riding or cycling. We enjoy scuba-diving and water sports. I practice snowboarding and we're both fond of skiing. We enjoy life in general. We are gourmets and we very much appreciate cooking or discovering nice restaurants and good wines.
Our children are very sweet and well behaved (very objectively, as I'm their mother ;-). We teach them to be careful with things. Sometimes, our children stay at their grandparents' and we travel without them.
We frequently travel with friends, with our parents or our baby-sitter.

We've been exchanging our home for more than 5 years and we are really excited about it.
