Our home is very comfortable in a rural (country) setting (4000sqm) near Coolum Beach, elevated with views looking towards the ocean, under 10 minutes to the beach (swimming with lifesavers). We are a 15 minute drive to domestic Sunshine Coast Airport, 25 minutes to Noosa Heads, 1 hour to Brisbane City and Brisbane Airport (international), and 2 hours to the Gold Coast which has Dreamworld, White Water World, Movie World, Wet 'n' Wild and Sea World.

Only 10 minutes to Palmer Resort Coolum Beach & Golf Course, 10 minutes to world famous Eumundi Markets, 25 minutes to Steve Irwins, Australia Zoo, 35 minutes to Montville, located in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland only another 10 minutes to Malaney which overlooks the Glass House Mountains. Coolum Beach also has many restuarants and shops available, surf club and a large skateboard park.

North of Noosa Heads is 40 Mile Beach, Double Island Point, Rainbow Beach and Frazer Island all with 4 wheele drive vehicle access, camping is also allowed in these areas.

The house has reverse cycle air-conditioning, intercom system throughout house, 3 large bedrooms upstairs, one very large bedroom / office downstairs, open living areas, two bathrooms, covered deck area, large concreted carport. The house is equipped with washer/dryer, dishwasher, broadband internet access, DVD Player, flatscreen TV, CD Player and expresso coffee machine. Equippment available for use are Golf Clubs, Surf Boards, skateboard, kids bikes and camping equipment.

We have a car available, and there is also public transport available.

Our home is located in a Semi Rural Area and is elevated on the front of Mount Ninderry, we have bushlands behind us to explore with a large easily climbable rock face, from there you have ocean views and can see from Cooroy/Noosa area to the mouth of Maroochy River.

Spectacular Sugar Cane fires are being burnt off between the end of September and the beginning of December.

Where else in the world would you see someone ride a horse to do their grocery shopping but Yandina, Yandina is 6 minutes drive, a small country town with a newly renovated old pub serving sensational food, weekend markets (fresh fruit and veg, fresh honey, home baked breads and cakes, herbs and spices and unusally flavoured olives bottled by a local olive farmer).

In the other direction, there in the Sunshine Plaza, 20 minutes drive to a large shopping centre with shops and boardwalks over the waterways. The Sunshine Plaza has most of the major department stores and many specialty stores. Noosa Heads and surrounding areas is also 20 minutes drive, which is a complete community within itself.

Our son is at school now so we like to keep our travel to school holidays, in saying this we don't mind taking him out of school for a week or two either side of school holidays. We are also looking to do a long exchange for 6 months to a year at some stage, however we have not worked out our dates yet, we are interested in taking our son out of school and enrolling in a school in a different country. We are interested in anything you have to offer.

Australia, we are interested in a week or long weekends anywhere within Australia. We are interested in traveling anywhere, that is good for children.

Cheap Flights from Brisbane, if you happen to be outside Australia, but still within cheap flights from Brisbane we would be interested in a week exchange over school holidays.

US, Florida, we are going to travel down the East Coast from New York.

New Zealand, we would love to stay at Wanaka, as we have stayed there before and have gone snowboarding and loved the place, however, we would be interested in anywhere around this area so we are still able to go snowboarding.

My name is Deb and my husband is Dan. We have a son who is 6 years old and twin girls who are 3 years. We live on the Sunshine Coast because we enjoy the slower pace and the continual feel of being on holidays. My husband is an electrician and I am a stay at home mother, before staying home I was involved in IT.

We like to travel and like to be involved in outdoor activities. We spend our weekends doing up our place and visiting family and working out were we are going on our next trip.
