CASAS COSTA BALLENA consists of 2 lovely houses surrounding an infinity pool, pool deck and outdoor shower.Both homes have a 180 degree view of the Pacific Ocean less than 1 km away.The view behind is a gorgeous mountain range.The property was designed as a 3BR home with a self contained 1BR guest house.The deck around the pool is equipped with several dining tables and chairs and a stainless steel propane BBQ is available.Washer and dryer are available in the pool pump room.The 1BR has a queen size bed and a queen size futon bed upstairs.The bathroom has a shower and hairdryer.The 3 BR has a queen size bed in the master bedroom and lots of storage plus a safe. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and the third bedroom has a queen size bed and is located on the second floor.The bathroom downstairs has a huge shower and hairdryer.All bedrooms downstairs are equipped with AC and ceiling fans.Both kitchen are fully equipped with refrigerator,gas stove and microwave.The upstairs has a half bathroom and bar. It is used as our living room it is also a great place to relax ,watch TV and enjoy the breeze and sunset.Both houses have CableTV, telephone and wireless internet and alarm system.

We are situated in the fast growing town of Uvita,Costa Ballena on the Southern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.Our property is built on a 2 acre lot less than 1 km from the Pacific Ocean overlooking Playa Ballena National Marine Park where Humpback whales winter with their newborn calves from December to April.We are 300 meters up the road from the well paved Pacific Coast Highway at an elevation of 150 meters(475') above sea level affording you great views of the sunsets..Whale watching, sport fishing, bird watching, diving, surfing,kayaking in the mangroves, canopy tours (Baru)and (Osa) and waterfall tours (Nauyaca Falls).Visit beautiful virgin beaches that stretch 4-5 miles and they are just minutes away..Only 20 minutes from the newly built hospital,dental clinic and pharmacies..Two supermercados less then a mile and variety of very good restaurants from local sodas to gourmet restaurants nearby.

In the past years Gerry and I had the chance to travel extensively in the USA, Europe, Asia,South America, Central America,South Africa,Egypt,etc....Now that we are retired,we are still loving it...and the Home Exchange system is just perfect for us...
Spring 2012 took us to the beautiful country of Turkey and Summer to Montreal our favorite city , were we made 3 home exchanges there in a period of 2 months.

Casas Costa Ballena , Costa Rica House Rental

We DO NOT home exchange during the Winter Season and we already have our May 2013 exchange to go to France.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND REQUEST for 2013 unless it is from August 25 to September 10 th.

We are already committed with 3 families this SUMMER 2013 in Montreal.

From AUGUST 25 th to SEPTEMBER 10 th we would consider a non simultaneous exchange ANYWHERE to come to Costa Rica and we could use it at a later date.

We are a retired couple. We are both avid sport oriented people,golf,tennis,diving,cycling etc...We love to travel and we love entertaining family and friends . We are originally from Montreal where I worked as a flight attendant and Gerry was Marketing Director of a medical products firm.Gerry's work took us for 10 years to Clearwater,Florida and then to Charlotte,North Carolina for 6 years until he retired.
We have an outside dog named Coco and she is a member of our family , she does not travel with us,so, we ask our guests to feed her. She is very easy and a good alarm on the property.
Gerry and I expect to spend 9 months here in Costa Rica and our summers in Canada and the USA visiting family and friends.We love our property, we take good care of what we love and will take good care of what you love as well.
