Our home is a warm, inviting space that has all the current comforts. Four bedrooms, all with double or queen beds allow for up to 8 guests. The kitchen, living room and dining room are on one level with a deck off the kitchen/dining room where the BBQ/grill is. The family room, laundry room are down five stairs with a walkout to the backyard/pool. Three bedrooms are up from the living room with a main bath and the master bedroom is on a separate level with an ensuite bath/shower. We have both a gas and wood burning fireplaces.

A salt-water pool and extensive patio were just added to expand the outdoor living space. A treed lot on a cul-de-sac ensures privacy and peace. A play structure is on the side yard and a park with playground is just a short stroll across the street. We are non-smokers and would prefer there be no smoking in the house.

We have two adult bikes and two children's bikes for touring the town. For indoor entertainment we have a large screen TV with DVD and a Wii which we are all enjoying. We have a computer with internet access that will be available to you. We have lots of toys and games to amuse children.

Oakville is a beautiful town about 25 minutes from downtown Toronto and 20 minutes to the airport. Our home is in a quiet, treed area within walking distance to Lake Ontario and the beautiful main street with wonderful restaurants and shopping. Centrally located, it is an easy drive to Niagara Falls, Muskoka (cottage country) or Wine Country. Toronto has lots to offer in terms of restaurants, museums, theatre and sporting events. It is a multicultural city with lots of neighbourhoods to explore.

We have many friends and family who will gladly welcome you and help you settle in.

Our primary travel time is around school vacations -- July/August, December and March. That said, we might be able to make other things work.

We are open to all possible exchanges.

David, Lori and their two children Grace (12) and Anna (9) are excited about traveling the world and living in different countries to experience and learn about other cultures. David is in the banking world and Lori is a career management consultant. David is an avid golfer and foodie who loves to cook. Lori loves reading and music. The whole family is now skiing which we all love. We are excited by the opportunity to exchange homes and connect with new people.
