Our Home
Basic, simple, two stories apartment/condo with all facilities you need. Overlooking the river Amstel, which gave Amsterdam her (its/his?)name (Amstel-re-dam = Amsterdam) Overlooking backyard gardens from the gallery back (see photo). Near center of Amsterdam, near countryside, near all kinds of public transport.(metro, tram, train, bus) Quiet. Bicycles available if wanted and if we do not need them ourselves.
All facilities in the house. All kinds of shops in direct neighborhood. Piano in apartment and lots of CD's & musical instruments. Kitchen where you can eat, livingroom with tv/computer/video/DVD-player. Upstairs bathroom with extra toilet, two bedrooms, one masterbedroom, one room with 2 bunkbeds. Possibility for extra bed in spare room. Prefer non-smokers, but not too difficult about it, you can always smoke on the balcony. Small playing area for little children nearby.

Our Neighborhood
Quiet neighbourhood, friendly neighbors. Not far from city centre. From the balcony you can see the river Amstel (almost hidden behind trees in summer). All shops nearby. Amsterdam is fairly small, and so is Holland, so you can go everywhere (sea, woods, countryside). Near the beautiful surroundings of Amsterdam, reachable by bicycle, or if you want to go further (Haarlem, Marken, Utrecht, Delft, etc.) by car, bus or train.

I, Bram (from Abraham), work in youthcare (adolescents 16-23 yrs). Don't smoke. Neither rich, nor poor, more or less intellectual? I Like reading, philosophy, music, art, history, culture,sports, etc. I prefer non-smokers. Not too difficult about that though. (I used to smoke, but stopped some eight years ago) My daughters (30, 23) may also come with me. Or a friend. Or just me by myself.
