Our unique log house is 136 square meters. It has grass on the roof and a woodburning stove in the living room. We live in a quiet place where you can hear the birds singing in the morning and whether you stay in the winter or in the summertime the atmoshpere is nice and cosy. The house is placed in a very nice garden with fruit trees and teraces. The garden is fenced and it is save to have both children and dogs running around. From the house you can walk to the forest in 1 minute, to open fields in 2 minutes and to the inlet in 3 minutes.
At summertime our garden i full of fruit, strawberries, vegetabble and other good things you can enjoy. In our back yard you find a big fireplace, were you are welcome to experiment with outdoor cooking.

If you want to see one of the most beautyful and forgotten places in Denmark - this is the place.We have some of the best nature in Denmark, long and white beaches with clear water, an inlet which is execelent for fishing and bathing with small children. There is plenty of forest, trails for hiking and bicycling and endless numbers of artists, handicraft and galleries. Early in the morning you can go to the habour and buy fish. Futhermore - we are only 1½ hour from Copenhagen; the capital of Denmark.
For the children
The beaches of Odsherred with their clean waters and the gently sloping ground are among the most child-friendly beaches in Denmark and have many things to offer for the perfect family vacation. South of Nykøbing Sj., you will find “Sommerland Sjælland”, a large, beautiful amusement park with 60 attractions, from miniature cars and children’s pool to roller coaster, water land and “Amazone”. There is plenty of space - and both parents and grandparents will enjoy the park and the “peaceful” activities, like a canoe tour on the lake. There is even a large barbecue area available for perfect picnics. Do not miss the free-of-charge activities - like the famous crab-fishing at Rørvig harbour, where hundreds of children and grownups lie on the pier, armed with a bamboo rod, a string and a piece of fish skin from the harbour’s fish dealer to catch some crab.

How would you like to experience the woods, or one of Odsherreds many beaches, from the back of a horse. Also this is a possible holiday activity for both experienced and unexperienced riders, children and adults.

Odsherred area has 8 'Blue Flag'-beaches, all living up to the highest standards in water quality, sanitary facilities etc. But also along the Isefjord coastline you will find small, fine and peaceful beaches, and the gentle fjord coast with its beech woods is an ideal destination for a combined forest and beach picnic.

Karsten is 41 years and has a master degree in International Agriculture. Work nearby where he advises the local farmers. Karsten is a hunter, and enjoys using our small boat for hunting at the inlet or at the ocean - together with our sweet dog. Paya is 40 years old, doing an industrial PhD at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts-In my spare timeI enjoy reading, doing art photos, friend and family. We have a daughter at 9 years, a boy at 7 and a second daughter at 4 years. We are the easy going - enjoying being with friends, family, playing around in the garden, doing dinner at the out door fireplace in the back yard.

We have two lovely and children friendly cats and two rabbits who would love to be taken care of. We also have the sweetest dog (cooker spaniel) - but we can find another place for him, if you dont want to adopts him while you are here.
