We live in a lovely four storey, Victorian Semi Detached house in the
beautiful Vale of Llangollen, five minutes walk from the town centre of Llangollen.

Our house overlooks the river Dee at the back and the Llangollen Canal at the front. Master bedroom with balcony overlooks the river and mature garden which has decking for outdoor eating.

All the usual amenities including Bleuthner Grand Piano and satellite TV. Friendly neighbours.

We arranged a swap with families from Sardinia (96), Sicily (97 and
06) Menorca (99) France (2000, 2005 and 2009 ) Malta (2001) Spain (2002, 2007, 2008, 2011) Italy(2003 and 2004 ) America (2010) and Australia (2008/9) so are very experienced.

Llangollen, an ancient market town, nestles within the beautiful Dee Valley in the North East of Wales under the romantic ruins of Dinas Bran Castle.

There is an old fashioned steam railway, mountain biking, canoeing, white water rafting, fishing, golf, horse drawn barges and much more. Local baker, butchers,delicatessens, wholefood cooperative and wide range of shops.

the Coast / Snowdonia/ Manchester /Liverpool All 1 hour.
Ireland Ferry is 1.5 hour drive away at Holyhead.

We have two daughters Rhiannon 29 and Eirian 25 although there will probably be just two of us in the exchange as they are busy with their work although they do sometimes join us on holiday.
