Beachside, sunny, modern, spacious apartment with a lush garden setting in a quiet cul-de-sac. Only a reserve separates you from the sparkling, safe waters of Red Beach and the Hauraki Gulf, just north of Auckland City on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula which is part of the Hibiscus Coast. You have all the advantages of being in a coastal environment yet able to access Auckland city in just 30 minutes. The apartment is attached to our primary residence which means exchange does not need to occur simultaneously.

Red Beach is situated on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula, (Hibiscus Coast) just 32km (20 miles) north of Auckland City. Within 14km (9 miles) of our house you have access to more than 12 beautiful safe beaches with associated watersports, regional reserves with picturesque walking tracks and picnic areas, 3 golf courses, including Gulf Harbour (venue for the 2007 New Zealand Golf Open), restaurants, art and craft galleries, movie theatres, shopping and recreational activities ranging form thermal pools to a snow planet and much more. Plus you are just 30-40 minutes away from all of Auckland City's world-class attractions. You can reach Auckland city by car, by bus or by ferry. For the golf lover there are nearly a dozen courses within an hour's drive. For the wine lover, several wineries are within 40 mins drive. The nearest regional reserve offers you NZ flora and fauna, sheep and cattle, beaches and stunning views.

We are happy to plan several years ahead so if you think you have a nice place in a nice sunny environment with lots to do and see, please make contact and we will plan an exchange sometime in the future. Also, if you are heading to Australia, you can often buy the fare so that it includes New Zealand at no extra cost.

Our apartment is available to you at any time of the year, and any year. We are very flexible on our non-simultaneous exchanges.

We are really open to any European destination, so please approach us.
We have just returned from great exchanges in France, Switzerland, Germany and The Netherlands. We would like to travel back to Spain, France and Italy. We would also like to try Austria, Slovenia, Poland, Czech Republic, Belgium, Denmark.
We will always consider any exchanges near the sea in Australia or the Pacific Islands.

Vicki and John are in their fifties/sixties and now that their family has left home they are looking at opportunities to further their travels, having spent much of their lives where most travel was business-related.
They have created a delightful, low-maintenance haven for their retirement by the sea and their house, your apartment and the gardens contain many New Zealand artworks.
They value and look after their home and will value and look after your property too.
As this apartment is separate from the main house, it is able to be used as an exchange at any time of the year, whereas Vicki and John are keen to visit the northern hemisphere during June, July and August.
We are also keen to find Australians, Hawaiians or even other New Zealanders who would be keen to do short exchanges at other times, perhaps on an annual basis.
