The house is in the hills surrounding Verona ( 15’ drive to the historical centre) (8 Km)in a very quiet place, amongst a luxuriant nature, where squirrels and birds live undisturbed. The two-storey house is in a beautiful and large garden with a lot of walnut-trees and a gazebo with table and seats. In the groundfloor there is a large open-space with kitchen and living room and a little toilet with shower and washing machine; through a door you go in a bright veranda of glass, where you can have your meals. The house is equipped with every comfort (HiFi, Stereo, dishwasher, TV with DVD and Satellite, fridge with a little freezer ) and a simple but complete furniture will make your stay comfortable and easy. On the first floor there are two bedrooms (a double bed and a twin bedded room) and a large bathroom with bathtub. We like this house very much because you can live in the nature and, at the same time, you can reach in few minutes Verona with her interesting monuments and amusements.

Our 2.nd house is on the hills, in the nature area where many Verona inhabitants spend their free time walking and biking ; near our cottage there is a little bed and breakfast, that accomodates foreign tourists. You can reach the historical centre (the amphitheater with the lirical festival, the roman theater, the house of Romeo and julia, piazza Erbe and piazza Dante, Castelvecchio , lots of museums, the elegant shopping roads and so on)in 15 minutes drive; the Lake of Garda with its typical villages and its mild climate is 20 km far from Verona ; By train you can reach Mantua (40'), Padua (50'), Venice (1 hour), Milan (2 hours). The Dolomites are very near (2 hours drive).

Our family consists of 3 persons ( Angela 50 German teacher, Maurizio 53 computer programmer and Riccardo 14 student).We usually travel with another family (mum, dad and 2 children ( 12 and 15) We like very much travelling and discovering new places and people. With the House swap we were twice in the USA (1993 and 1997, in Great Britain (2006), in France (2007) and in Berlin (2008) : the experinces were great.
