Our Home
Come to Orlando as a visitor but live like a local!! Located in the Thornton Park neighborhood, my home is within walking distance of Lake Eola Park, downtown restaurants and entertainment, and all the Thornton Park restaurants. The apartment has two bedrooms and 2 full baths; there is a full kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, disposal and all the utensils you could need. There is a washer & dryer. I have television, DVD, and high-speed wireless Internet access. The apartment has central air conditioning as well as ceiling fans.
The apartment has 10' ceilings, is on the top floor and there is an elevator in the building. Gas grills are available for cooking out. There is also an exercise room and private pool for the apartment residents only. Parking is included just across the street in an enclosed garage.

Our Neighborhood
Thornton Park is just east of downtown Orlando and a friendly, walkable neighborhood. Take a stroll around Lake Eola which is just across the street, stopping at the amphitheater for an evening concert or an open air restaurant for a bit. Or after a long day of enjoying one of the many Orlando attractions, forget cooking and walk to a near by restaurants. You have many to choose from. There are also numerous coffee shops, frozen yogurt spots and, in my opinion, the best French bakery in town!
Just a block away is a full service grocery store so you can eat in. On Sunday afternoons, be sure to visit the farmers' market that sets up in Lake Eola Park.
It's an easy 15 to 20 minute drive to all the attractions including Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World and more.
And it's only about 10 to 15 minutes to an amazing selection of outlet stores.

Our Dates
I have flexibility in when I can travel. Summers are particularly easy as are the Christmas and New Year holidays. My trips tend to be for a week to 10 days but I am open to longer.

I enjoy traveling and are open to any and all proposals. Go ahead and ask! In general, I would love to visit most major European cities for shopping, museums and tourist sites, but have also enjoyed vacations in the countryside. On occasion I invite my parents (in their 70s) or a niece or nephew to travel with me.

About Us
I am an employee of the City government. I enjoy traveling with friends and my extended family. I especially enjoy traveling with my nieces and nephews (who range in age from 18 to 25) to new destinations. Most any European destination is of interest.
