Enjoy nature at its best, from our crystal clear cove to our spectacular mountain backdrop. Walk just a few steps from the queen bedroom out onto an open air terrace that hovers just 200 feet above our magnificent cove where you can experience nature at its best. There is 10 meter (33 feet) private swimming pool several terraces for sunning, relaxing and enjoying the amazing views. Situated in a rural mountainside/seaside setting our place is also not very far from the small Valencian pueblo coastal fishing village of Xabia. There you can buy fresh fish daily or wonderful local fruits and vegetables in the open air market. Our town has dozens of wonderful and affordable restaurants as well - with many located seaside. We are located in a nature preserve/sanctuary where the air quality has been officially declared the best of all of Europe. No cars, trucks, buses, planes or trains near here - the only traffic we have is an occasional sailboat that glides by. Our cove just 200 feet below has been declared several years in a row, now, as the best beach in all of Spain. That is probably why it was selected to film the beach scenes in the Bruce Willis movie - "Cold Light of Day."

We live in a rural mountain and seaside region. English is widely spoken almost everywhere. In town, about 7 miles from our place there is an archeological Museum that contains Roman artifacts that were found locally. There is an open air market, a traditional fishing port as well as a modern Nautical Club. There are two lighthouses each having spectacular views, lots of walking trails, a variety of beaches (sand, pebble, rocky, a natural volcanic sea side), and about a dozen incredible lookouts.
Our place is situated about 90 kilometers (54 miles) from Alicante international airport, 100 kilometers (60 miles) from Valencia international airport within the province of Alicante. Madrid is about 240 miles west and Barcelona about 300 miles north. The local climate is southern Mediterranean averaging about 300 sunny days a year and mild temperatures that do not drop below freezing.

In addition to Greece and its islands We are also interested in the South Pacific islands. In addition to Puerto Rico, we interested in almost any Caribbean or Central American destination. Flexible in length of stay. Exchange could be for as little as 1 week up to 1 month. We are located right on the coast.
