Our Home
The apartment (90m²) was built in 2000, it is very sunny and it is located in a very centric district, five minutes walking to Ramblas and Museums, offers enough space for up to four people. It has one double bedroom with his en-suite bathroom and two single bedrooms sharing a second bathroom, a spacious and very sunny living room and working room, the kitchen is fully equipped with electric (vitro-ceramic)hob and oven, refrigerator and washing machine.
It includes air conditioning, TV, DVD.
Our Neighborhood
The apartment is located in front of the Mercat de Sant Antoni on the left side of the Eixample. The Market was built on the site that had been occupied by an open-air market since immemorial time, just outside one of the city gates. Built at a time when it was fashionable to show off the beauty of the construction materials, it has an exposed steel structure and is in the Modernista style. It has always been the true engine of the neighbourhood, and in addition to the daily food market, it houses clothing and house wares market four days a week and a Sunday morning second-hand book market.

We are two woman, Elisabeth and Nuria late-fifties, teaching at the University. We have no children or pets - though we do love dogs and cats and would be happy to look after one.
We can give plenty of advice on places to go in Barcelona and how to get around.
We would probably be accompanied by two female friends on short-term or longer term exchanges.
