Our Home
A comfortable 2 bedroom family home and a well maintained 2 acres. The home has a TV room, living room, large country kitchen, exercise room and 2 bathrooms. We also have a baby bed, high chair and play pen. It is a rural residential area with friendly neighbours. We are 10 minutes from Duncan. Our property has lawns, gardens, a lot of trees and a natural fish pond. Enjoy sitting on the covered deck or barbeque in the back yard, watch the wild birds in the neighbours' lake or watch the deer grazing on the other side of the fence.

Our Neighborhood
Duncan (population 50, 000) is the heart of the Cowichan Valley and 10 minutes away. It is a small city but with all the conveniences necessary. We have 4 golf courses, several local wineries, hiking & biking trails nearby.
We are 10 minutes from the Cowichan River, 20-30 minutes from several ocean and lake and mountain areas.
We are 1 hour from Victoria, a charming city with a unique personality. We are a scenic ferry ride from Vancouver, Whistler or Seattle. Short ferry rides takes you to many of our Gulf Islands. Vancouver Island is renowned for its beauty and diversity of activities, check www. vancouverisland. com.
For winter visitors we are a two hour drive from our Island ski mountain. www.mountwashington.ca

Smoking outside only please. Due to insurance legalities we are unable to exchange vehicles but vehicle rentals are quite reasonable here. We have several grown sons and daughter living in the area who would help you get settled and be available for any questions. We would be delighted to provide you with any information about our area. We feel that we live in paradise on Vancouver Island and would like to share it. Non simultaneous exchanges are a possibility as we are often away from home on trips.

About Us
We are Robert, retired carpenter, and Laurel, retired equipment salesperson. We started travelling several years ago and thoroughly enjoy seeing new places and experiencing different cultures. We've met wonderful people and had many successful and enjoyable exchanges so far.
