Fully equipped 3400 + sq ft home located in the heart of British Columbia's pristine Rocky Mountain vacation land, 1. 5 hr drive from both Banff and Lake Louise, 2 hr 45 min drive from Calgary International airport.
It is located in a picteresque small town with shopping, pubs, and restaurants, yet is very private and just 100 meters to a sandy, child-safe beach on a clear, warm-water lake surrounded by the Rocky Mountains and Purcell ranges.
The 1000+ sq ft living/dining/kitchen area has a wood-burning fireplace. Master bedroom has ensuite with five foot long double shower and 6 foot jetted tub looking out over mountains. Floors are maple or terra cota tile, with in-floor heating and an air filtration system that renews the air every 20 minutes offering hypoallergenic environment.
Our house offers spectacular, panoramic mountain and lake views.

The Neighborhood
Invermere is a small (population 3000) all season resort town that grows to about 10, 000 each summer. Area population probably doubles in the ski season.
It lies in the Rocky Mountain Trench, with the Rockies on the east and the Purcell and Selkirk mountains on the west side. Invermere is sited on Lake Windermere, a pristine warm water lake valued for its beautiful vistas, watersports, boating, and fishing.
Invermere has no polluting industry, and a laid back small town feel. People are friendly and openly welcome strangers.
It has been described as what Colorado was like 25 years ago: safe, serene, and spectacular.
Invermere is the service centre for the Columbia valley (the mighty Columbia river has its source in our valley) , so it has a hospital, helicopter air ambulance, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, restaurants, hotels, large grocery stores, liquor stores, and many resorts clustered around it.

Bathing in natural mineral hot springs pools at Radium Hot Springs (15 km) and Fairmont Hot Springs (27 km) ;
Paraglide and hanglide (one of 5 best locations in North America, with Mount Swansea only 10 minutes, and Mount Seven at Golden, BC only 45 minutes away) ;

We have various recreational gear available for visitors (4 mountain bikes, 2 kayaks, inflatable boat, tennis rackets, outdoor furniture, etc) .
There is always a split firewood for the indoor fireplace.
