Our Home
Our first floor waterfront condo is on Huntington Harbor and has a dock with a one or two person kayak (for you to use). You can enjoy harbor view dining on the patio that comes equipped with a gas barbecue and heat lamp. There are two swimming pools, jacuzzi, three tennis courts and an exercise room in our condo complex. The bedroom has a comfortable new pillow top king size bed and there is a newer queen size sofa sleeper in the living room. The kitchen is fully stocked, has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. There are two flat screen TVS (one is HD 46"), DVD, CD player and a computer with high speed internet access, WiFi and a printer. Also, there are six washers and dryers near our condo. Huntington and Sunset Beaches, as well as ecological reserve trails (nature center), restaurants, shops and a beach bike path are all within one block of our home.
Our Neighborhood
Huntington Harbor is in Orange County about 30 minutes south of Los Angeles and north of San Diego. It is centrally located to all Southern California attractions. . . Disneyland, Universal Studios, Orange County Performing Arts Center, Hollywood, Getty Museum, Long Beach Aquarium, Catalina Island etc. Huntington Beach (Surf City) has year round events like surfing competitions, concerts and volleyball. You can check out www. surfcityusa. com for more information. It is a safe, friendly neighborhood. There are two golf courses in Huntington Beach. You are within a two minute walk of restaurants and shopping. One block from our home you can enjoy jogging, and biking on the level beach bike path that goes from Sunset Beach to Newport Beach. Our area is known for surfing and kitesurfing. Also, you can explore 14 miles of beautiful channels in the harbor with our single or double kayak.

Other Information
There is also a three bedroom three bath mountain house in Idyllwild, California that is above Palm Springs in the San Jacinto mountains and it is possible to add to the exchange or use by itself. It sleeps 8 comfortably, is a short walk to the village and is an art community with great hiking. For more information please look at our other listing. We are a non smoking couple and our home is non smoking and no pets. Our beach home has two bicycles, a one or two person kayak, tennis rackets, a boogie board, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, and children's car seat for your use.

Our Dates
We are open to most any time and the exchanges are preferred as non simultaneous since we have a 2nd home to use. We try to be flexible. We would enjoy hearing from you. Also, we enjoy several exchanges a year from long weekends to weeks to a month.

Hawaii any time. We are also interested in future exchanges to New Zealand, Ireland, Scotland, Slovenia, Michigan or Wisconsin lakes, and as you can see we are open to most anywhere with natural beauty. Long weekends or week exchanges on the California coast or mountains are also very appealing. Chicago, Washington D.C., NYC, or any interesting or naturally beautiful places (National Parks) in USA. We are open and flexible to non simultaneous exchanges(2nd home) or maybe simultaneous, so tempt us with your home because we do several exchanges a year. We enjoy the coast, lakes, mountains and views especially.

About Us

Mark is a retired businessman and Julie has retired from teaching at a local elementary school. We both retired in our 50s and we are active Californians who enjoy biking, kayaking, swimming, hiking, sports and traveling. We have a married son and daughter, grandson and granddaughter that live in Orange County . There will be only the two of us traveling but depending on the exchange we might ask another couple to join us if it is agreeable with you. We have completed many wonderful exchanges from weekends to weeks on the coast and the mountains to over a month in Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, New Zealand, France and Spain. We have also had several repeat exchanges. We will take excellent care of your home, just as we hope you will ours.
