Our Neighborhood
Berkeley is more convenient to the main sights of SF than many places "in" SF itself -- just 15 minutes across the bridge by car or subway to the heart of all the attractions. Our neighborhood is quiet, beautiful and near everything you would want. Walk down in the morning to a terrific coffee shop with a wonderful bakery next door and enjoy the sunshine while having your breakfast. Have afternoon tea or a cocktail at the historic Claremont Hotel right next door with its sweeping views of San Francisco Bay. Only a little further to the University of California, Berkeley Art Museum, more cafes and restaurants (including Chez Panisse, rated the top in the entire U.S.), movie and live theaters, etc. Near hiking paths, biking trails and a running track -- all with views of the SF Bay. Take a day trip to the Napa wine country, the beaches of Santa Cruz or the Pt.Reyes National Seashore.

About Us

Marilyn practices law from a home office. Her clients are mostly community colleges in the Bay Area. Stuart is a counselor a nearby community college. We are very active, at the gym or walking or (Stuart) biking almost every day. We also attend performances, mostly jazz, theater and dance, several nights a week. We like to travel to Europe every summer and to Hawaii. We also enjoy week-end exchanges in California: Santa Cruz,Carmel, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Palm Springs and Napa.
