The house that is available for an exchange is our second-home located in Austria, Tyrol near the town of Kufstein which is about ten minutes away from the German/Austrian border. We use the house occasionally on holidays or weekends. It´s a wonderful place to spend your time at because of it´s location in the midst of the Austrian alps and all the opportunity this place offers in terms of travelling and holiday activities. In winter it offers good opportunities for downhill and cross-country skiing, toboganing runs, hiking and all other sorts of winter activities. In summer there are plenty of mountain-peaks to climb, go mountain biking or swimming in one of the lakes close by. If you like to discover famous and interesting places in Austria and Bavaria, Kufstein is a great place to start from. The house itself is situated at Noppenberg a small mountain village 10minutes from Kufstein. It was built in 1965 and restored in 2002. Now it´s basically a new house for four to six people. It´s all furnished and offers all the comforts you need. Large Kitchen and living room with fire place with a great view of the Wilder-Kaiser mountain range. Two bedrooms and washroom upstairs. The house is in a rural area located on a mountain road in a quiet neighbourhood consisting of about 5 houses. The only "noise" you might hear are the bells of cows grazing close by in summertime - but that´s part of a real tyrolean mountain experience.
